I will be starting my blueberry seeds the 16th of November at the start of the crescent moon in the waxing moon stage for highest germination rates and will do a grow report.

@SmknCanuck I didn’t even know that the moon phases affected germ rates. What time of the moon do you think is the best and the worst time?

@Pug-love here is a link to a guide of when to germinate,prune,when roots grow most and when to harvest.After reading then in google just type in moon cycle 2020 in your region.

@anon60559124 so 2 days ago i put 4 blueberry seeds in a glass of water after 12 hours all 4 had sunk and cracked.Moved to a wet napkin and placed in a baggie 12 hours later all 4 had taps out.Placed in 16oz cups 16 hours ago and 2 have popped up one already pushing out its first set of leaves.A second popper now working on first leaves.A 3rd is breaking the soil plain and should be up later today…The 4th one is going to be a crap shot as i went to place the seed in its cup it was like the soil just sucked it down to the bottom.I started slowly removing soil to find it when i dropped the cup and the dirt splatted out.I lightly raked through the dirt but could not find the seed.I gathered up all the dirt and placed it back in the cup will hope it finds its way out.
So your seeds were 4 for 4 on having taproots in 24hrs and 39hrs for 2 to break the plain and the 3rd not far behind.No doubt 4 for 4 would have germed if not for my klutziness…Will keep you posted on how they do.

Well 4 for 4 on the Blueberry seeds.The one that disappeared and got buried found its way out.
Day 5 from seed soak.in 16oz cups of promix seedling mix.
And the lost one climbing out the side of the cup lol
Hoping for 1 nice male and one nice female.Would like some blueberry pollen to hit my SourTangie for the SourTangieBlues in honor of @anon4675195
