Co-op Strain Donations and Breeder Match Ups

I just ran a couple of Daytripr69’s Sour Strawberries for head-stash (drying right now) Just to see how they grew.
They grew ‘nice’… ‘right nice!’… Nice vape with a week of drying!

so… besides the 40(ish) F3s, I have 15 F1s directly from the ‘OG buy’ just before BOG passed.

It looks like there’s going to be several folks growing them out before I do :+1:, but what I was thinking of is a multi step back-cross between the F1s from the F3s.
Mostly because I haven’t done that yet… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Cheers

Have ran alot of Bog gear for a good many years and have sold alot of his beans.
Hate to break everyone’s bubble here but the sour Strawberry isn’t really that good.

Have you run the Lifesaver? I heard that was good.

Because of what you told me about it. Sour bubble is also on my legendary list. Deffinetly want that.

IMO Sour Bubble is unique enough for the flavor and has good enough potency to be preserved on its own.

I’ve ran Everything of his.
The blue kush stands right at the top of the pecking order, have one going right now smells like liver wurst.
Won’t forget the first time I told Bog that, I got a big laugh.

The older sour bubble was probably the best out of his sour bubble stock.

Nice. I will have to see if I can find some to run. I had not heard of that one. I had heard of the Lifesaver but had not run it. Since you had thought I would ask. Not like you praise any of them lightly

I thought that lifestar would be kickass cuz of the Sensi Star in it. Had the sour and the reg.
Was able to get some of his way earlier released LS, I dont believe the guy i split them with found much either.

Edit: was changed from lifesaver to lifestar.
Even if forget things from time to time.

Hash oil my friend. You have to eat some hash oil, and rub it into your neck, too. It is magically healing stuff. I was addicted to painkillers for 5 years and I can tell you that this works way better for pain. About a rice grain sized Dose… you can use a toothpick and dip it into the hash oil, and then straight into some ice cold water where it turns hard like a pill and you can swallow it without wearing it on your teeth. I made mine in a rice cooker with grain alcohol Outdoors with a fan blowing the fumes away. If you can get access to some of this it really really works. Speedy recovery I hope!

It would definitely be preferable to preserve an f1 pack if possible.

keep in mind one of the original goals of the co-op was to continue to make preservations of our co-op lines every 3 years or so to keep the stock fresh.

So if anybody has seeds from the co-op that they would like to preserve for the community as a refresh seed run, they should feel free to go for it.

Of course we have a long list of f1 packs still awaiting preservation, so potential volunteers should keep that in mind as well.

We had intended the refresh runs to be a low stakes way for growers who are new to breeding to get involved with the seed runs, so if a f1 preservation sounds like too much pressure people could start out with stock that has already been reproduced, and make more for anyone who missed the chance to sign up the first time.

Putting it out there. I’m open to offering up my space to do a preservation run after this summer settles down. I figure I could start sometime in the fall in order to have ready for spring.

Open to feedback or suggestions.

Hey, so I’ve been eyeing Khalifa Genetics. Found this old post of yours through the search bar.

Can I ask how you ordered; meaning, Direct or through seedsman/other vendor state-side? It’s been YEARS since I ordered from overseas, so I’m weary all over again. Thanks & sorry for the bump

One more question: How was their gear in your opinion?
