Beautiful! Following.
They have a dimmer that steps in increments of 25%. I took a chance because they were the perfect fit for my room and they have done well. I was looking at the Gavi 1700e’s too. I don’t think you can go wrong with those. I love anything LG. I have 3 LG television’s, 2 LG window unit air conditioners for when we lose power and I have to run the generator in the summer, and they are rock solid. Here is a pic of a Blue Dream under one of the TMLAPY’s. I had to take it outside of the room for perspective:
I’ll pop in from time to time to see how the kids are doing. Like @GCBudz said the CJ is simple to grow. The ones I’ve grown all seemed to stretch about a foot to 15" or so. Around 3-4 weeks from the end the colas will start a slow swell and will need support at some point. I actually have two running right now with about 2 weeks to go. Here is a photo of some buds down in the canopy.
And a cola from up at the top of the canopy.
I think you’ll enjoy your CJ plants.
Outstanding!
Frost factor is off the hook.
Like I said earlier, I’m a sucker for a pretty face
Yeah I can’t get behind a breeder that doesn’t show their work. Like you really can’t be bothered to flower out and document your seeds that you want to sell to me? I’ll wait for some one else to document it for me. I’m not taking that gamble.
And if you’re ever so inclined in the future the Cap Junky so far is turning out to be a very strong breeding partner. This cola is on my Lemon Paki X Cap Junky plant at day 54 post flip.
awesome pics and how do you like that light i was gonna say 2 mars sp6500 would cover that perfect mine do a 4x10 area, but you need to have at least 2 feet from canopy they are powerful beasts.
i wish you had a higher plant count so i can see you run even more strains lol you seem to have it down.
I didn’t think I was going to like it. You read so much about power and bud density that I had myself believing anything under 400W would be airy buds. My experience has been just the opposite with LED’s. I really believe it is strain dependent. I’ve had several variety’s under these lights and only one had airy buds. She was a sativa pheno of AK-47 and rocked our socks off. I really like that they run cooler than the TS1000’s and they seem to be a lot brighter.
The higher plant count thing is weird here. You can have 4 legally. Up to 10 and it’s only a $250 citation, but it’s only a citation once. If you’re caught again, it’s starts running into misdemeanor territory with higher fines. Over 10 and up to some number that I forget and the misdemeanors become a higher class with higher fines up to felonies.
I’ve posted this in the show your budshots thread before, so forgive me, but here is a Wedding Cake under the same light. Every bud to the bottom of the plant was rock hard and fire:
that light shows for me on amazon for 269 plus a 40 coupon so 230… very tempting
It’s meant for a 2X4 tent. I think it’s a great light. They have been running for over a year with small breaks in between runs. They’ve run flawlessly for me. I think Spider Farmer has one that is close to or the same size. That was going to be my back up in the event that this manufacturer goes out of business or stops selling them.
Seven days after the flip (1 week). CJ 1 before I installed the net. She’s going to fill this space in nicely. Have I mentioned I love this plant?
After the net’s been dropped in. The rails are fixed to the walls, so I try to gauge stretch. Most of the time I’m right on, but I’ve had a couple of plants that really surprised me and shot right past the net by several feet.
Nice, flat canopy. I have a feeling I’m going to kick myself for not cloning her.
CJ 2 before I dropped the net on her. She’s taller and lankier. She’ll have nice tops (spears) but I wish she were a little flatter. She’s already through the net by a few inches.
After the net drop.
CJ 2 canopy view.
Fire Creek OG’s at day 7 (1 week) after the flip. They are considerably shorter than I was hoping, but they will fill the whole 4X4 out in width. The left one has a little more vertical stretch, but they pretty much look identical. They reek.
Here is a canopy view with my soil technician at my feet. I can’t do anything with the plants or the soil without his “help.”
Close up of my soil technician after helping me mix bags a few grows ago.
Canopy shot.
I’ll update weekly. Thanks for tagging along.
Pretty kitty! Purrrrfect time for me to check in eh?
See what I did there?
Nice looking plants!
I have a weird question lol. I have these bags I got from a vendor when I worked at the dispensary. Are you of any relation? I think about it almost everytime I see your username lol
Healthy and happy looking plants! Nice stuff! Feel like I’ve seen Omuerta mentioned before, but know nothing about them. Sounds like killer smoke though. Best of luck with them and hope you love the flower!
Thank you Sir. Topshelftree’s has grown out quite a bit of his gear, including the Fire Creek OG, and loved it. I like to take a chance on lesser known breeders. There is hidden gold in a lot of those packs.
They smell like someone threw me in the trunk of a muscle car with a leaky exhaust and burned the tires down the road for a quarter mile. Then to add insult to injury, they threw a live skunk in the trunk with me
That is really wild! What are they from? I took my username after the musical notation that ends the measure or piece of music.
Very cool.
They’re an edible maker out in Colorado lol. They hooked us up with some swag. I have pens and even a coffee cup with your name on it
I can’t remember that many of their products, it’s been a couple years since I’ve dealt with them, but I do remember them being music related, so it all makes sense now
I just looked them up. Those bastards:
