Looking so good! That ratio worked out nicely!
That male the potential it has allready getting fat earl on in flower
Now that’s a great name for a male
I’m actually thinking about moving the girls to my 2x2 tent for a week or so, to let them catch up before getting pollinated.
I
I’m probably not going to do this because I have three small Holy Grail Kush in the 2x2 and they look like they could use another week.
Hey @BCC weird question, but what straw are you using for your mulch layer? BAS stuff? It just looks super clean so I can’t help but wonder…
I normally get it from BAS. They were out of stock when I needed some (awhile back), so I got some from EZStraw with tack from Amazon. It is not organic and I don’t totally trust it*, so I’ll go back to BAS when I run out.
*The package says it is safe for kids/pets, but who knows what it might have been sprayed with in the field. I use just a few handfuls per plant, so the risks are very minor, but I’d still rather be using organic straw.
Dude I’ve been using the same stuff and have the same concerns, trying to spruce something local cause I feel crazy just ordering straw from CO, but everything available here is field grown stuff that I don’t trust to bring indoors
That looks like a pair of yet-to-be but guaranteed fully-preggo moms if I’ve ever seen. Nice!
So take off all your clothes
(It is getting so hot I wanna take my clooothes off)
Plants were coated in pollen. Yesterday, I cleaned the leaves with a spray bottle of water because the plants were starting to look a bit unhealthy. One day later…
Pollinated a Grand Daddy Purple clone with some of the pollen. Seems like it could be an interesting cross. (It is a small plant, so I probably will not get very many seeds.)
Ohhhhhh yeeeeaaaaah and the love making begins! Great job
The grow is now on day 30. The males look spent and the two females look to be fully pollinated. I’m going to take down the males tonight, if I can find time.
(Apologies for the lack of pictures, but my elderly mother had a medical emergency and I’ve been spending a lot of time at the hospital. She is on the mend now and should be discharged soon.)
Well wishes to your mother on a speedy recovery. Hopefully you’re back at peace after this emergency.
This is a fantastic project and I too would love to contribute to it. I realize there won’t be too many seeds with only two mamas, so I don’t expect you’ll have much to give out. However, I’m in no rush and can wait a few cycles before giving it a go.
Good luck!
Hope your mother recovers quickly. Well wishes
