Subcool took similar looking photos. He had a lot of grow tutorials and tips… one was to use a backdrop (a simple $10 piece of cut purple velvet from a craft store is what I use). He also said nothing takes a great photo like a Nikon camera. Those things kinds stuck with me. I recently bought a Nikon Z7II… the mirrorless cameras are finally beating out the DSLR mirror based cameras. Technology has come a long way.

I took out the males and cleaned the tent yesterday. Pollen on every surface and in every nook and cranny!
I also cleaned the plants, although you can still see some dried pollen that is stuck to the leaves. Here are the two Chernobyl females on Day 32. One of them has developed a really nice lime smell.
I also pollinated a small Cornbread clone…
And a GDP clone…

My GDP pheno did not turn purple, so I don’t expect anything great from this cross. Although, tt does have a good funky smell and it is a producer, so you never know. I put the clone by a window, just for home decor 
, and was planning to toss it eventually. It went into flower, so I figured I might as well put it in the flower tent.

Day 43
One of the mom’s has more resin and larger buds. It has not developed much smell yet.
The other has more of a lime green color and the buds have a sweet smell like bubblegum. Earlier they smelled like lime. I’m hoping more of the lime smell comes thru by harvest. The buds are smaller and have more space between them and bit less resin (so far!).
The seeds are not yet ripe. Probably another three weeks.

Sounds interesting. I’ve never seen or smelled Chernobyl, but I love the idea of lime or bubblegum terps.
