Thank you for this. That is very clear and i think what we all donated on the basis of. No ill will, we just want to understand each other.
I agree with your plan on the Masisi, dividing 130 seed between 30 people is not ideal for furthering this variety. Since @Upstate organized alot of this i would vote he gets the groups portion of Masisi(whatever that number is) to plan a reproduction with himself or a group member.
Thank you again for putting yourself out there to go on these adventures!
Thanks for the clarification. If Upstate can commit to doing or finding someone who can do a repro soon, that works for me, otherwise I’d prefer to have 4 seeds and work out collaboration(s) amongst ourselves.
I would love to join in on that if that happens. I was unsure if we were getting the masisi and rutshuru. In my message you can probably tell i was confused but im just looking to get a bit of all 3 strains (rutshuru, masisi, and malawi gold). I already sent the money for the extra masisi so if we are to receive both the masisi and rutshuru already then throw my whole pack of extra masisi to reproductions for the forum
I’m game to repro the Masisi and give seeds to the group. My outdoor season is on the lower end of the downhill slide, and I’ll be around more shortly. I’m stoked there were 2 strains found! Anyone running Rutshuru? I’d love to get a look at those, too.
If upstate is willing to do that for us I think it makes sense if we give him the most part of the seeds, we don’t really know the germ ratio or herms that we might find so Is the best to give him the greatest chance
What is your opinion guys?
I was just pondering this Congo business. I hope you all realize that we just might have helped Mike pull real Black African Magic out of the Jungle. These are the ONLY longflowering Pygmy Sativas I have seen come out of the jungle. The other “BAM” strains out there are ( now seen to be) obvious hybrids. Guys, this could be historic. @Kidete facing down an ongoing East African Monkeypox plague and other dangers of the wild wild East Congolese jungle like Arnold Schwarzenegger to find us not just one, but TWO legit Congo jungle sativas on this trip, and another border jungle sativa on the last trip. How many people would do that? Friggin epic! This trip was historic. Thanks again to everyone involved. I can fit lots of Masisi plants in my room, and I’m going to seed the heck out of them!
It is a pretty special adventure and one with plenty of risk, that is not lost on me at all!
Who knows what the Masisi really holds with it being harvested so early in flowering there. @Kidete definitely seemed to be enjoying the Rutshuru alot in his video also!
Thank you for doing the grow for the group also, i know thats is very appreciated.
