Wow that turned out beautiful!

She’s lookin’ more and more like her mother, @other_barry. How does she smell?

I will do my best, but I am so bad at this part

There is a very balanced mix of smells that is makes it hard to define what all is in there. The first thing that comes to mind is mint, like you would smell on a thin mint pheno GSC. I also want to say there is a citrus aspect to it, as well as an earthy smell I can’t really define. This was all from a stem rub, and snapping a leaf off, mid stem, to feed to the beast that is sleeping below the plant, most of the day.

I am so excited to get this cured, so I can sample it, and am so happy I kept a cut going so I can grow more of it. I saw it start foxtailing a week or 2 back, and cut a couple off to test out what I had heard as far as that would make the plant stop making foxtails and start putting weight back on the buds, and it seems to have done that.

Tonight or tomorrow I am going to drain the bucket and replace with water I only ph to start flushing her out. I need to start taking some tric shots too, because she looks more done every day

That’s is a pretty girl. Great job on that.

Thanks  I think I probably should have raised the lights a bit more towards the end, to prevent the canoeing, but it doesn’t seem to be a huge problem.

All I see are fat ‘n’ sticky buds, with some real nice coloring on the leaves.

Out of likes at the moment…

Regarding the smells, it seems like you’re getting something different from either of her parents. Her mother has a funky gassy/greasy aroma, and her father has a sweet smell, but not like a berry or grape, and also not citrus. It’s like candy!

Yes, please do take some trichome shots! Also, if you can take a pic from the side so we see it from that perspective, that would be great!

As for the monster guarding the base of the plant, he looks like he can do some damage if you don’t keep him happy. :upside_down_face:

Having a vertical fan and a cat in the same room as a sticky plant pretty much guarantees that your bud shots are gonna be photobombed by little black hairs!

My excitement is to the point where I think I may let the bowl trimmer have a break, and actually hand trim again for these buds.

Nice! Those are some chunky nugs, aren’t they?

So another question…how dense are they?

Her mother’s buds are so dense, light cannot escape them! That’s why air circulation around the entire plant (not just blowing from one side of the space) is important for preventing bud rot.

Her father was somewhat dense, but not nearly as much as the mother. I actually wanted that trait for the offspring so they can be more easily grown outdoors, or in smaller environments where fans can’t be placed on opposing sides of a space.

But they look great, @other_barry. I look forward to your updates and smoke smoke report! Thank you for sharing :+1:

The whole plant is extremely dense. Getting in there to start defoliation was a chore. lol

I just gave one of the buds a little squeeze and it definitely felt much more solid, compared to the other runs I have done so far.

Regarding the airflow, I just had bud rot on the MAC I grew, and determined it was because I turned off most of the fans in the tent due to noise complaints from my downstairs neighbors. This tower fan I picked up moves MUCH more air than the little tent fans I had previously been using, but if you think I should I can probably get away with clipping them on the bucket, aimed up into the plant or something like that, for the remainder of the run.

If it’s a tent, and if your humidity is low (definitely under 50% - I shoot for lower myself), it’s possible one good fan can do the job. You just don’t want a side of the bud to be protected from airflow by the other side of the bud. If air bounces off the opposite side of the tent from where the fan sits and comes back into that side of the bud, you should be good. But don’t assume; check. If you aren’t sure, it’s certainly better to be safe than suffer the wrath of rot. Especially at this late stage!

Ps. Still outta’ likes!

One of my cookieland plants had a pheno like that. Had to aggressively defoliate and the leaf to calyx ration sucks.

You’re going to love the smoke on that. One of my favorites.

I’ve had her flushing with just water for a couple weeks now, so the leaves are starting to look bad. Gonna chop her down tonight or tomorrow AM
