Kids are a vector man. Some othe family has an infected member who gives it to their kid. The kid shows no symptoms, so they go out to play.

BUT THEY ARE INFECTED AND SPREAD IT TO THE OTHER KIDS.

Then your kid brings it home to you…bingo.

And then the cycle just keeps going and going and going…

Tried to go to Costco’s early this morning for the first day of “Senior Hours”. Yeah right.

Its only one hour long, but that doesnt really matter because you cant even get close tot he front door. I got there 10 minutes before the 8AM opening. Parking lot was jammed. I found one of the last three open spots as far away from the store as possible. Got out and had to doge other cars zipping around looking for a spot.

Started walking and stopped. I could see a line going from the front entrance allllllllll the way across the front of the building, then down the long side allllllll the way to the back of the building AND then around into the far far parking lot. The line was 4 or five people wide - no social distancing possible.

And it was raining.

All those old folks - like me - who have been staying away to avoid the crowds, are trying to get in all at once. I walked back tp my car and left.

Those costco jerks are only offering this two days a week - Tues, Thurs, 8AM to 9AM. They need to do it every dam day so we can actually get in!!!

SafeWay, Albertsons, Fred Meyer, and others are doing the same thing - early senior hours two day a week. The problem is the shelves are not stocked when I go, so its still kind of a waste. Plus they dont enforce the senior thing, so lots of 20-40 somethings in there with the old farts.

I keep hoping this lack of supply will catch up and the hording will stop. Might be a long wait for us old farts especially.

To me…That’s Bullshit. The elderly deserve better treatment. I had no idea you were, or I would not have said “I hope you get a virus” to you.Honestly,… I apologize. I was taught to respect my seniors…But then, most seniors are not dropping f bombs at me haha.

If I lived near you, I would do your shopping for you.

Kind regards,

K.

Sorry man, but not accepted. Too little too late.

I guess you consider it ok to wish anyone under the age of 60 to get it. You heard the death rate in NY of younger people? First child just died in LA. Or are you ok with someone getting it and then giving it to their parents or grand parents or friends?

No disrespect intended, but I think you are a troll - at the very best.

I still DONT wish you or anyone you know or love gets this.

Good luck - but please dont post to me again.

Class act Buddy…

Why did you PM me and apologize first then? I at least did it publicly, to show how much of an adult I can be. I would think elders, such as yourself, would be more mature?

Edit: My mistake, It was someone else…I take back my apology…

Kind Regards,

K.

Mine and my charge (neighbours kid) were playing soccer in the field across the street. RCMP escorted them home by complaint.

Seriously - 2 kids kicking a soccer ball in a field who are together 8+ hours a day. Nobody else around.

We’ve hit a point of ridiculousness…

Those little front lawn libraries are being promoted - for some strange reason. There’s a huge vector for transmission. You can’t sterilize books and you’re in contact for many hours (probably touching your face as you read). But the abandoned playgrounds are bad?

It’s interesting the insanity in stores. The US hasn’t even had 1% of the population infected yet. I wonder What it’s going to be like when 40% of the Population is infected.

I think we are in for a ruff ride.

Yeah but I think 70 percent of americans like canadians are acting as if they have it or expect to be exposed to it. Crazy times ahead for sure.
