Covid-19 check in

My first Pfizer shot, sore arm a couple days (same as a flu or tetanus for me).
Second shot, my arm hurt like heck for a week. (The same as when I got 4 vaccines in the same day. I think it was 2nd shingles and tetanus in same arm.)
I post the above to put the symptoms in perspective to my norm.
Sorry you had a bad time @vaprtrail. I know a couple others that had that reaction and was told the same.

Sounds like you took a short trip through hellā€¦

I guess it varies wildly from person to person.
My wife and I got the Pfizer shots last week and we figured it was less reaction than the yearly flu shot. Iā€™d call it a 1.

I had minor symptoms with the first shot, mostly a numbness in my deltoid for a couple of days. My second Phizer shot is scheduled for the 15th.

Recovered from Covid-19 in Southern California.
Antibodies confirmed. ā€” Couldnā€™t breathe, extreme fatigue - like a bad case of pneumonia with a bit of body aches for fun. Took all of 4 months to recover 90%.

My career went the way of fresh-air and left. Had no job for over a year.
My neighbor opened a restaurant and bam! I now work in the restaurant business after 39 years in the studios (and not looking back!)

Hope you are all well and growing fire for you & yours OG!

Still gonna wear a mask in public, but really looking forward to hanging out with friends again.

Had my first Astra-Zeneca shot Wednesday with my wife.

My kids in Toronto both got their first shots same day too.

Itā€™s been a long year.

got my first vaccine (moderna) the other day. the next day i vomited up a bunch of bile and had serious pain running down my arms while puking, and had serious pain in my shoulders/arms when i sneezed a few times later that day. it was like every single muscle running down my shoulders/arms became extremely sore and painful, not just the arm i got the shot in. weirdā€¦

I got my 2nd. shot Friday 10:30 am and I felt fine until yesterday Saturday afternoon around 4pmā€¦by the time the Kentucky Derby was over everything kicked inā€¦
I had head/body aches, joints were feeling sore and I can feel myself getting week and I had the chills, it was 82 degrees outside for fucks sake. It just felt like I had the flu but a mild case, no shortness of breath.
Anyway I woke up this morning and I felt better. No more flu like symptoms and I have more energy. Even though I went through that I still donā€™t regret getting the Modern CV-19 shot.

Others have reported the same and were told if you had covid the 2nd might be like what you described.

howā€™s everyone doing covid-wise? i have my 2nd shot scheduled for later this month. did anyone have side effects from their shots? i just heard about someone collapsing in a walgreens right after receiving their shot. iā€™ve been having occasional violent twitches in my arm when iā€™m half asleep (like i go to move my forearm a bit but instead of moving a little bit itā€™s more violent like almost throwing a punch and donā€™t know what else could have caused it, hopefully that goes away. everyone else doing well?

Thatā€™s interesting, I wonā€™t be getting a Vax, I had covid last year, canā€™t get an antibody test to confirm, Canada health doesnā€™t seem to care if youā€™re already immune.

From what I am reading coming out of South Korea, and Israel, who have a very high population count vaxed is, people after 13 months from having covid are still retaining a high antibody count.

Another interesting thing coming out, is that they still havenā€™t isolated the bit of the virus that is causing the damage, and now believe its the actual protein the virus sits in causing the extreme immune reaction and killing people who have high inflammation levels.

This may cause problems for people who have had the 2 vaxes that change your mRNA to make their body produce the protein, as there immune system may start to attack themselves, wherever the protein moves to in the body, which is basically wherever there is inflammation as it attaches to the ace receptors caused by inflammation.

I hope everyone is reporting their symptoms after getting vaxes, its the only way to know how well these experimental vaxes work and what side effects are being caused.

No vaccine changes your mRNA, your DNA or anything genetic at all.
An mRNA vaccine works by ā€˜teachingā€™ your cells to recognize the spike protein on the COVID virus, that is all.

Iā€™m also hoping the rumour that Bill Gates put 5G microchips in it are true.

my home wifi sucks.

OK, used the wrong terminology, the MRNA sends messages to the cells, so the cells can change and then produce the protein in your body. So your immune system can recognize the protein and attack it.

So the protein being made by the cells now, gets into the blood stream, moves around the body finding Ace receptors to attach to, where there is inflammation already occurring, and your immune system attacks them, just like the real thing.

Yes, your body learns to recognize the protein spike as an invader.

Luckily for us, that protein spike in the vaccine is NOT part of a COVID virus, it just looks similar to it.
