All done and on a rack with the plant in reveg in hopes of making a grafting later in the year. This plant was IN reveg when I had to flip back to 12/12 to make space for my #Fuck Cancer grow.
Whomever makes more seeds: WELL MET!!.
I’ve been stalking your journal, definitely curious about the smells you’re getting right now. Depending on how these end up finishing, I probably want to find a male with some stretch as they’re definitely squat little girls.
@GCBudz would you characterize this as a “very short” strain? I got about 10" of stretch from these girls and it appears that everyone has stopped growing vertically by today, Day 17 of Flower. I measured all the tops yesterday and didn’t see any increase this morning, only swelling and bud formation, so actually super impressed with how manageable and SCROG-friendly these are! I was expecting to have to wrestle some of these down after the picture of that male you shared, but finding these to be very short.
Man it’s been a few years, and i only did that one run. Mine was much taller than yours iirc, but i dont remember how much it stretched.
10"… how tall are they overall? Did they double?
It’s not alarmingly short or anything, but I figured with some of the skunkiness in the line they’d jump up a bit. I’d say they about doubled the amount of nodes they had when I flipped, but of all the strains I’ve grown recently this is one of the most modest stretches I’ve seen. I did top these, so no large main cola expected, they all went into flower with 4 main branches of growth.
Cut back all the major fans above the bud sites, left everything below the nodes so the plant still has a nice skirt of leaves but clear air between nugs.
Smells are exactly like some dispensary Sour Tangie I tried recently. More of a creamy vanilla creamsicle with a nice pop of citrus, versus a sour orange. Definitely an ice cream smell to these plants that’s super enjoyable.
Professional stuff !!!
Thank you! This year is my 10th anniversary of growing cannabis, so, jeeze…lol…would hope so!
Great photo, I can totally see the similarities in structure between your plant and mine. It’s like each main “line” out of the trunk wants to run its own christmas-tree shaped branch, with 5-6 “shoulder” branches and then just a chonker of a central top. The way I trained mine make that apical morphology really stand out in all the other CT pics I’ve seen so far. Makes me think this thing would be an absolute dynamo in a greenhouse or a row, sort of ‘outdoor SOG’ style with a ton of short plants turned over very quickly.
That’s the other thing…this feels fast! Although, I might just be used to growing a ton of really precious, PITA OG varietals that take forever…
@Oldjoints what did she yield and how long did you run her. Nice plant Sir…
@low_and_slow yours are looking fine as well, looking fwd to seeing them bulk up.
I might have to try one outdoors, but I have a new untested neighbor behind me now… see what happens.
They all look awesome, can’t wait to run some.
That pic was taken this morning so I haven’t harvested it yet. Below is a picture of the same plant on Feb. 1st:
Looks pretty sweet!
