In hindsight I wish I had turned the voice recorder on my phone. Iā€™ve recorded meetings at work. ā€œThatā€™s illegalā€¦you canā€™t use that against meā€. Maybeā€¦but everyone will know what a tool you are. Just saying you recorded a conversation makes liars squirm.

BCG13 x Killer Chem @23 days. Beautiful plants! These are gonna be nice ones @Kind024 . Nice structure on all 3.

I agree, those are beautiful plants. Raised by a beautiful human.

The tall plant on the right reminds me of the structure of the BCG13 #5 mom. The Killer Chem father is coming through strong in the left and middle plants. The scent and flavor will tell the rest of the story.

There are a bunch of flowers on those plants. I hope it turns out to be a good smoking experience. They will probably wash well for hash.

Thank you for sharing your time and space with that gear.

Keep on keepinā€™ on brother.

The 2nd photo from the bottom has 5-6 branches that look identical. Node spacing. Fans. These donā€™t have a strong smell yet. Itā€™s there, just not sure what it is.

Fantastic day here! Youth soccer. Isabelle is 12U this year. Weston is 8U. First outing like this since my back surgery in February. Just nice to be around the kids and other like-minded folks. Both won, which is fine. They played hard and well. Long day. Tired and my feet are in bad shape after being on them. Spent a lot of time herding Ranger, or being herded by him is more accurate. Boy is he strong-willed!

Good morning @crownpoodle and family!

Didnā€™t add Ranger somehow. His Mom and Dad are the coaches on Westonā€™s team. My ā€œjobā€ was to herd Ranger. Heā€™s a very strong-willed little guy, but as sweet as the come. While pretending to drive he pretends to honk. ā€œHonk. Honk. MOVE!ā€. Before long itā€™s likely to be ā€œMOVE you f#&king idiot.ā€
I am grateful beyond words.

@JAWS Alien GORG f1-v2. The dark one is #4. The light one #1. No strong opinions about one or the other. If I donā€™t by the time the Missus and I smoke it all??? I guess Iā€™ll have to grow more. Do more research.
Frickinā€™ Maui helping make meatloaf. Oh man! My sandwich for lunch tomorrow. Sliced Gerkin sweet pickles. Might need to make a little one tonight.

Hold up, you talking putting sweet pickles on a meatloaf sandwich? Also what you top you meatloaf with tomato paste or ketchup?

Oh yeah! The missus makes her own topping. I know thereā€™s some :tomato: base. Paste maybe? Vinegar. Brown sugar. Couldnā€™t tell you what else. The sandwich. Butter and catsup. If I could pull off bringing a loaf in the house, it would be Wonder Bread. Just like dad taught me.

@SHSC-1 Van Isle Pink Kush x Long Valley Royal Kush went into the 4x4 today. I had to situate the 3 big plants and had a nice spot. That leaves 6 still in veg for a bit. 3 Hawaiian Lime OGEE and 3 Super Lemon Putang x Run Away Bride. I need to throw the switch to 12s on these too. I like how 6 fits in the 3x3.
I looked at tents today. I can fit a 5x5 with the same cabin roof in my shed. Barely. Wasnā€™t thinking a bigger light, mines adequate. Not trying to run more plants. Not saying I wouldnā€™t either. Iā€™m thinking access. I always liked how well done SCROGs look.
Iā€™ll get some pics tomorrow.

VIPK x LVRK day one. I cleaned her up a little and opened her up. The plants bigger than I thought when I get it next to the ones already in flower. Any thoughts on stretch @SHSC-1 ? Doesnā€™t matter nowā€¦ Iā€™ll find out soon enough.

Also got 3 Super Lemon Putang x Run Away Bride cleaned up. Theyā€™re still in the 3x3 with my Hawaiian Lime OGEEs. Those will get some attention tomorrow. Theyā€™ll get flipped soon. Thought I had a good photo of after the defol. Next time.

I figure they will double in size for sure @crownpoodle
Niether line is real stretchy, but some ā€¦ I would say to expect the average doubling in size though for sure.

Thanks @SHSC-1 . Iā€™m sure whatever happens in the next 8-10 weeks, this will all stay in the house. Wish I had a couple more to see whatā€™s up. Iā€™ve got more seed. :seedling::seedling::seedling:
You heading off hunting soon? You gotta share some photos of your time away from us. Growing weed is pretty cool. I enjoy most things about it, but thereā€™s way more out there to experience in life.

Hey CPā€¦ hunting here in BC opens sept 10 for rifle seasons but each region and species has thier own opening and closing dates as well as antler size restrictions.
So right now where I live, Mule deer must have minimum 4 points/tines on one antler not including brow tines. That changes Oct 1 to 31st where Mulies are open for any buck the go back to 4point only for november. White tail is any buck thru to end of november and they open does for a few weeks in October which is a first for our area.
This is Mule deer country but the Whitetail have been moving west for years now and there are pockets of them if you know where to look. Still hard to find though.
Mulies, like the ones that hang in my yard all summer, are my main target but I usually wait for the any buck season as september 4pts are hard to nail down. Later in October and into November it is a little easier to hunt the mature deer so I save my energy ā€¦ and gas money LOL for later in the season if I want to chase the 4pt or larger mulies.

I also hunt Blacktail deer which are more of a coastal deer and a cousin of the Mule deer. So they pretty much look like a mule deer but they are a bit smaller. These are my favorite deer to hunt but it is rough steep coastal mountain terrain and they are not easy quarry for most hunters. They have been rightly given the name ā€œthe ghosts of the coastā€ and hunters all the way down into Oregon hold hunting these deer in high regard. So my first hunting trip of the season will be a 4+ hour drive west over the mountains , to a place called Pemberton. Then drive into the mountains north of there and in a top secret location I have hunted for 22 years nowā€¦ is my treestand
I leave in a week to meet my brother in deer camp and Iā€™m itchin to get there.
My Moose adventure way up north isnā€™t till Oct 19th and itā€™s all I think about LOL Iā€™ll have 25 days to find the right animal and do a little fishin while Iā€™m at it.

Never hunted, or been interested in wanting to. My dad was. Growing up poor in rural Montana during the Depression made you a hunter. Trying to remember his rifle. I know it was a Savage. Does a 250 sound right? Lever action. Just beautiful! My dad did the checkering on it . On most peopleā€™s guns who knew him and many who didnā€™t.

I think hunting is just a primal instinct thing for me and also the desire to know where my food comes from and being self sufficient. We are also surrounded by wild places here in BC so the fishing and hunting activities drew me as a kid though no one in my family hunted. I was the only one until my brother recently joined me as a hunter.
I donā€™t ā€œenjoyā€ taking life but I am also keenly aware of the realities of being aliveā€¦ we must eat and for that things must die. So I do everything possible to ensure that I give every animal and unsuspecting bullet to the vitals that puts them down as fast as possible. That means constant shooting practice to keep my skills sharp, choosing the right caliber and bullet to get the job done fastā€¦ and choosing places and animals to hunt where I can wait in ambush and they never see it coming. I appreciate a large antlered animal as much as a the next guy but the antlers are really fuggen hard to chew so I donā€™t usually hold out for those and I take what the land gives me.
Then there are the things you experience in nature that have nothing to do with taking an animal, but have everything to do with making you feel alive and in tune with things the way nature intended. We canā€™t all be hunters, we each fit into our roles and find our own happiness. Another thing for me is the importance of eating free ranged meat, fish and poultry and doing the entire process from the field to the freezer/table. Iā€™m not consuming store bought meats and havenā€™t for many years other than the odd deli meats and cheeses.

Hope your having a great week brotha :sunglasses: :vulcan_salute:

Everything is rocking and rolling! What your thoughts on defoliating? Do you strip fan leaves later in flower? I prefer it but I may be doing more harm. Back in forth in my head with light hitting bud sites vs just letting the plant take its course. I typically go with the former for more light to the budsites.

I went twice when I was kid with my uncle, no deer each time but still remember it. I would like to try in the future. I already cull chickens so moving up the latter wouldnt be so hard.

I applaud your self-sufficiency brotha. I enjoy watching Meateaters seasons and listening to their podcast
Whitetail ate my corn this year. I should just get a bow. Just asking for it.
