How do u guys flush I watched this video on u tube where he puts his potted plant in another tub bucket with a little aquarium pump turned hose on running it to ur liking not over filling the pot draining out the vent holes an fill that tub up which the pump pulls water out he went through 60 gallon of water an was clear by the end. I can try finding it an post if interested

I do not, I just change/lower my feed in coco. For soil I just fed until the end and reused the soil after it amended and “cooked” (not in an oven, just mixed together, amended, watered, and then covered for a month.

I really don’t think that helps for dirt, unless you have something happen like crazy over fertization or something you are trying to wash out of the soil. When growing with salts you may need to flush sometimes because of salt build up due to not running enough nutrient solution through the medium causing salt build up.

That plant was looking nice too, or I think so. There’s about 1.5 gallons of soil in a #2. There’s a lot of roots in my pots, I’m happy with how they’ve looked the last few repots. That stuff I put on them went right to the roots. The soil can be flushed but much of it’s already been absorbed. I’ve even shook all the soil off plants before when I messed up on some small outdoor plants one year.

Greetings brother, they’re not mistakes of we learn from them.

You can take the plant out of the container and place it into a bucket of clean water. Slowly massage the soil away from the roots. Then replant into fresh stuff. It will stress the plant a bit. But it may save its life. Or like others suggested. Caulk it up to a learning experience and move on.

Either way, I wish you the best. Keep on keepin’ on!

Crap. Surgery cancelled. One of the surgeons involved has Pancreatic Cancer. He’s got bigger problems than me.

Dang man! So what’s the plan? New team of surgeons?

Just a delay. The “structural” guy is still on. The guy with cancer is part of the “access team”. He was the guy fixed wife when she had a perforated colon a few years back. Fantastic man with huge community ties. My wife has a friend with a tattoo by a scar acknowledging Howard’s surgical skills.

Good morning brotha :coffee: :sunglasses: :vulcan_salute:

Sorry to hear your surgery has been cancelled. Fuck Cancer!

I just did this with a LCH clone but from too much water and not enough air flow. Plant flopped over in week 8. It was suffering and taking up space as it was under the canopy so kind of for the better. live n learn. Fingers crossed she bounces back for you and stays clear. Great stress test.

My new problem is a bunch of DD pollen hit my plants in flower. Looks like I need to deep clean more before I do anything going forward.

Hope you have a great week!

Thanks buddy. Appreciate the words. I actually slept good last night. The gabapentin did the trick @JohnnyPotseed . I feel like a noodle this morning, but some of that is not being awake. Not used to getting much sleep lately.

Yep, lol same here. I used Gabby last night and just can’t seem to get woke, even after several cups of coffee
BUT… I DID get a damn good amount of sleep last night!

Out the door in 5 minutes to the dentist. Oh joy. Almost slept enough to be late! Short drive so not a big deal.
I hate to say it but after that recent accident I’m apprehensive driving. Last couple years I’ve found I don’t enjoy driving like I used to. I’d tell the missus p"Grab your vape and a couple jars." 90 minutes later we’re in heaven. Actually just the South end of Big Sur. Close enough for us.

OK. The “ill” plant is no longer taking up space. BCG13 x Killer Chem at 42 days. There’s 3 phenos, with obvious different nute needs. Interesting. That’s besides being really hungry plants. Not particularly happy here. I might have chased that a little under different circumstances. I had a lot going on. I’ve discussed with a friend how certain strains really “fall off” around week 5, especially anything OG related. There’s a cocktail of essentially the same nutes I use, in some different ratios.
The plants look a tad ratty. Sorry @Kind024 . The defining factor on any weed is when I smoke it. I’ve got one in there I can still get ya some good photos. I don’t think she’s too tangled like the other two. I have a lot more stakes than I normally do. Zip ties all over. Branches holding each other up. I haven’t run one this floppy since a SFVOG from 20Twenty Mendocino. Regular seeds. I shared half the pack with a special person.

@Kind024 there’s a good chance these will be done in 8 weeks. I put a glass on them today. I like the earlier finishers. I’ve got some Hawaiian Lime OGEE I expect to go over 70 days, but ya never know. When he was about 4, anything my grandson Weston didn’t understand completely got this response was “it’s all just a mystery PPa”. Yep. Sure is buddy.

Its all good brother. That’s why we test them. Im happy to see you put those ladies through the paces.

The floppy stem is definitely the BCG13 mom influence. She was a little floppy. It wasnt that bad with her flower structure. The Killer Chem fattened the flowers quite a bit. Which exacerbated the floppy stem trait. Im good with those traits. Im really hoping to hear some of mom’s scent come through along with the rest of what we are seeing. Then we’ll be on to something.

Keep on keepin’ on my friend.

Be well,
Kind
