Thanks @Hotrods_and_hounds . Fricking stellar weekend! Quality family time. Rain or shine, we have scones at Cayucos Pier one morning. Been doing it at least 10 years. It could not have been nicer. Obviously sisters. Ranger just loves directing traffic. Me, mostly. He wanted my shoes and socks off and wanted me to run in the water. He looks over as we run and says “This is fun PPa!” Yes it is buddy. He’s 2 and speaks quite clearly. 3 older chatty siblings will do that.

That’s pretty awesome, it’s nice to have that kind of setup to meet up in the weekends. Yeah being out playing with his ppa on the beach seem like they will be def good memories to cherish.

My younger daughter’s husband had always wanted one. Koda’s almost 5 months. Sweet girl! Her 1st beach day.

That’s pretty cool! Has the tongue changed color yet?

right on. I grew up around Chows , Uncles had them and my grandparents as well.
They are neat dogs.
Looks like a fun day at the beach with the important people.

Not black yet but quite dark. Both her parents are registered, one an AKC champion. Both bigger dogs, but Koda won’t be. They made sure to have a good groomer lined up. She’s as sweet a puppy as I’ve been around for awhile. Obeys well. Crate trained. They originally had 2 puppies, but one wasn’t going to work out. Rue the healer/lab mix was successfully rehomed to someone who needed a companion dog to spoil.
My buddy Weston, who’s just 7 was in charge of training. Rue was easy. Koda was stubborn. It’s been so sweet to watch that little boy train them. He had time and was the most consistent one.

Well that’s cool, do you guys have 4h or something like that out there? Where did he learn how to train pups? But that’s a great skill to have.

They have 4H, but no involvement yet for my grandkids. Weston has a strong connections to both dogs and cats. All animals really. My daughter and her husband just told him what’s up. What to do, not do. He’s a natural, the way animals respond to him is amazing. His cousins have a whole barnyard full. I think some of it is how calm he is. The animals sense it…

Morning buddy. Amazing how quiet it is after 2 busy days visiting! Practically a vacuum.
Later I’ll share my “educational opportunity” with my 8 year old Sweetie Aubrey Marie. She’s a curious little thing. “What’s in the black tent thingy PPa”?

I’ve been doing some baby sitting lately and I left the greenroom door open when I was working in there last week. My grandnephew came down the hallway and I had my back turned and I heard, “Why do you have plants in here?” I know his mom didn’t want him knowing about my hobby so I said “They’re tomato plants.” I hate to lie but you understand.
The little guy is a talker though!
Mom asked me the other day if I was growing tomatoes year round now!!
She was laughing because she had it figured out what he’d seen. lol

This is good. So Aubrey asks the question. Her cousin Isabelle, almost 12, who’s pbeen around a lot, says “they’re marijuana plants”. Aubrey wonders why. “PPa makes medicine. Lotions. It helps with pain.” I show her my seeds, how they become sprouts. Then the 2x2 veg tent, then the 3x3 and 4x4 in flower.
She was really interested in the whole process. Pretty cool to have an opportunity and an open minded mom.

BCG13 x Killer Chem @46-47 days. Overall the plants look pretty ratty, but the buds are nice @Kind024 ! The terps are thick. Syrupy. Maybe sweet? When I unzip the tent in the morning it smells like a combo of an old, musty cabin and a candy shop on a hot day. The plants have very different smells. I love a decent variety within the same strain.

My wife wanted something different today. Rude Dog fems cured a solid 3 months. WOW! XXX strong!

Right on brother! Those ladies are coming around. Looks like a jungle in there. Someone just finished up one of those BCG13 x Killer Chem. He said the scent developed more toward the end of the cycle. Said its good smoke. One bong and the headband effect started in. Head filling like a ballon.

Im grateful for your participation bro You make it a good one. Be well my friend.

Thanks @Hotrods_and_hounds . You too @MoBilly . Scones are when the out of towners roll in. I’m sitting out back, it’s about 80. Hard to motivate!
I’ve got plants out of the 4x4. Stripping every leaf I see that’s got any defect going on. I try and get all the obvious garbage off before they come in the house. A pre-defol of sorts. 53 days I think. They were looking pretty ratty before the tune-up. Got caught short on time today and a couple plants got left in our utility room. About 12x20. We were gone 4 hours. Wasn’t particularly hot or anything. We got home, the missus walks in about a minute ahead of me. I hear “Shit. One of the cats pissed on the house.” I come in and start looking around. It’s the dang plants! I have not had that week in my house from weed in decades. Never grown any like that before. Odd as the plants themselves didn’t smell so strong. I guess stripping them really lit them up. It’s all your fault @Kind024 . Dang dude! Wonder what I’ll get out of those GMO x Killer Chem?
Nice cat hair in the 2nd pic from the bottom. Why I wash my bud. One of the reasons.
