LMFAO!!!
Bahaha you stoned bastard! I love it
Lol tha edible groggy morning is a different vibe! But most likely a fun night!
My wife said the cats were making a huge ruckus. āWe have cats?ā
Blowfish x Appalachia. No girls of the 3 I had going. Dang. I let them go a good long time hoping. Iāve got more of those. Iām going to have a nice batch of jars going in a bit.
Iām not there yet, but I need to start determining what my next @JAWS testers will be. @TopShelfTrees1 I know you have some. Let me know if something looks like you want to grow it, and Iāll choose different.
hey my brother PLEASE do not fill pressured into starting another genetic from me, i thank you so much for what your doing for me HONESTLY but if there are others you want/need to get to thats fine with me. were not going any where!!.
your just awesome brother ā¦
Nobodyās twisting my arm to run your stuff. I was running it before we ever texted once. No bribes or offers of whatever have been mentioned. For a few reasons running testers agrees with me and helps you. I like my current spot a lot. I will say running testers helps me be a better grower. Or it should. I have to be deligent, more than my norm. If I say something is fine that has strong herm tendencies, itās mostly YOU, that would get grief, not me. I canāt have that. Itās my way of being of service to not just you, but the cannabis community in general. Giving back what was so freely offered, by a lot of men and women. Helping me learn, not telling me what to do. I like that approach, thanks to my man @Shaggy I can actually share info with others. Or tell them where to look.
For me, with my background most of you know little of, itās a frigging honor to be allowed to run testers. To be trusted. To associate my name with others I respect I do not take lightly. I see and hear of so much poor behavior. I want to be on the other end of that kind of behavior. I want to be THAT example.
Iāve got 6 grandkids. I need to be able to back up my chatter on the spot. Kids are quick. If I tried to BS my oldest Nora, sheād instantly know, and Iād instantly loose any credibility. She knows I grow. I burn. I have to show you can do that and be responsible. I have a less than stellar past weāve talked briefly about. Not quite time for the rest of the story.
Yeaā¦I grow more than a few of your testers. Those are seeds Iām testing. Thereās things about myself I need to watch closely too. To test.
I believe we have a reciprocal relationshipā¦helping each other. Thank you for the opportunities!

Will be making a final decision in the next two days cuz Iām popping beans real soon. Just waiting on a package so I can throw everything down together. Iāve got a pretty good idea though.
@crownpoodle I love the ideas and sentiments shared here. You seem like a solid fella.
Would you mind elaborating on this a little further? I hope to contribute in a similar way in the future. How does one be a āgood testerā, if you donāt mind me asking?
Grow other peoples ātestersā. Seeds that havenāt been run.
Sorry, I may not have phrased that very well. I know about running testers. Iām just curious for some elaboration on being a āgoodā tester for the community. Stressing plants? Detailed reports? Etc.?
@crownpoodle 's response was kinda inspiring so I thought theirs would be a good brain to pick.
Good question regarding being a good tester or a better grower.
If the plants Iām growing are just for me, Iām not as likely to be as focused as if they are for someone else. If I take growing testers casually, and I miss herms, or some other possibly undesirable traits , that could have a direct link to potential seed sales. I asked @JAWS what he wanted. " Grow like I normally do. Nothing special."
Right now I have some Cherry Hi-C testers going. They donāt look like I want them too. In 5ā sq now, going in to 3s in a few days. Then I can focus on getting them growing like I want. Not doing a thing different than if the seeds were from anyone else.
Sure thereās something in it for me. Running testers is only part of the relationship I have developed here. I mentioned some time back the Missus really likes the Trainwreck. So next time thereās mail, thereās some Trainwreck. Iād have bought it anyways.
I consider myself an average grower. I want to be better. I want to know more of the whyās and howās of growing. I could do the same thing with any pack of seeds. With testers thereās a level of accountability.
The whole cannabis community needs honest, reliable testers. If breeders have to do it all themselves, with plant counts in some places? Bad math. Iāve benefited so much by others hard work. I am in a position I can give back. So I am.
Are you more, or less clear now? Hmmm. If I make no sense, @TopShelfTrees1 could probably translate my gibberish.
Far more clear. That all makes sense. I genuinely appreciate your input.
Maybe that will help me get better at getting things OUT in the mail.
Testers will keep you posting on a regular interval. It gives you a chance to show others what youāre doing. Nobodyās thrown rocks at me yet. I learn doing it. Others might learn from me.
Thanks again. I know Iāll be following along.
Glad to have you along. Any questions, please ask. Iām no master grower, far from it. Iāve learned a lot more from my problem grows, than smooth ones. Iāve had guys right here save grows, when we spent more time on a different forum. Bailed my ass out. You see something odd, I wanna hear "wtf are you doing THAT forā, if you see something. That extra set of eyes can be huge!
@Trimeresurus the dark plants are the WLLs. I love how they look. Looking close they need the feed tweaked a bit. First they will get put in the 4x4 on 12s. In about 10 days theyāll get a good strip of the lowers. The lime green ones are the Cherry Hi-C. I do not like how they look. I have a pretty basic nute program, addressing deficiencies by foliar if I can. Like I said, Iām no great grower. Not going to put bad plants in the back. These plants have been a challenge. Once those WLL are out, Iāll whip these into shape. If I canāt figure it out, Iāll surely ask for help.
Morning dude!! Whatās kicking?
I would have to disagree brother, youāve come such a long way in a few years itās awesome having witnessed it in its entirety. Seriously, the confidence, the knowledge youāve absorbed, and the plants speak for themselves. Yes great genetics play a big part but even those can only get you so far, i would with absolute honesty have to say you are a great grower and thatās with absolutely no bias whatsoever
Morning. Didnāt sleep well. Not sure if I want to wake up. Cold here today.
