I went to Check on the Kung yesterday after mowing and taking a shower with bugs fly off me in droves. The plants look sad as I took off the lower nodes after being weeks in flower. I didn’t see any sing of bugs. Until I looked in the soil. Found lots of mites, hopefully the good ones I released. They looked like the photo and even saw a couple nematodes I released
Should be the good ones. The good ones tend to stay in the soil while the bad ones will be on the leaves, usually the backside. Though this isn’t always the case, I find predator mites tend to patrol the soil. I gave some teens to someone and he freaked out on me saying I gave him mites, until his buddy looked at em and told him they were good mites. You’re welcome for the pest control! Hopefully that’s the case here which I think it may be.
Very very nice. Loving the structure. How long until flip! What kind of lights are they under inside? How bid is their pot outside? Super healthy. Great work @2tokejoke
It is hard to get a msg to post…but outside they are in the earth…the 2 inside were flipped fathers day…i mentioned in pm i took 4 cuttings off each…they are in 1.5 gallon cans…they are the very healthy and super easy…they dont fuss or fight…they show everything i look for in great genetics…thank you swampthing
Meant to add…my lights are just 8 screw in ledz…with the lens cut off…the other cab for starters is just 6 ledz with domes cut off…thats all i have been working with
Kung early 20 ish days.
Hair under 30 inches.
Skinny leaves on indica candleabra frame
Smells like generic tropical air freshener
Hope to see heavy frost onset soon and an intensifying smell. Pretty excited.
Lol it’s from the lyrics of a Phish song “cavern” @gordongecko
The time is near, the mission’s clear
It’s later than we think
Before you slip into the night
You’ll want something to drink
Steal away before the dawn, and
Bring us back good news
But if you’ve tread in primal soup
Please wipe it from your shoes
Just then a porthole pirate
Scourged the evening with his cry
And sanctuary bugs deprived
The monkey of its thigh
A dust arose and clogged my nose
Before I could blink twice
Despite the scut that bubbled up
I gave some last advice:
The flesh from Satan’s dogs
Will make the rudiments of gruel
Deduct the carrots from your pay
You worthless swampy fool
Exploding then through fields and fen
And swimming in the mire
The septic maiden’s gargoyle tooth
Demented me with fire
I drifted where the current chose
Afloat upon my back
And if perchance a newt slimed by
I’d stuff it in my sack
Soon I felt a bubble form, Somewhere below my skin
But with handy spine of hedgehog
I removed the force within
Suzie then removed her mask
And caused a mighty stir
The angry mob responded
Taking turns at grabbing her
The foggy cavern’s musty grime
Appeared within my palm
I snatched Rick’s fork to scrape it off
With deadly icy calm
The crowd meanwhile had taken Sue
And used her like a rag
To mop the slime from where the slug
Had slithered with the bag
In summing up, the moral seems
A little bit obscure…
Give the director a serpent deflector
a mudrat detector, a ribbon reflector
a cushion convector, a picture of nectar
a virile dissector,a hormone collector
It’s Day 19 of Veg. The plants are progressing nicely, imho. They were becoming root bound, so I up-potted to 1 gal. pots 2 days ago. They’re diggin’ their new surroundings. It’s weird, I didn’t see any signs of transplant shock like I usually do.
For this grow, I’m following @LED_Seedz old, GH Flora series 3-part feeding schedule, posted by @99PerCent, iirc. There seem to be 2 or 3 pheno’s, time will tell. I plan to top them at the 8th node and take cuttings this time.
