Decarbing/infusing with a gas stove

Deff by far the easiest way IMO I’m stoked ! Gotta make cookies soon for sure
The taste ….well what taste. Very hard to describe deff not planty or funky

Then this just for a laugh this is my girl when I asked her

“Sous Vide tonight baby, make sure you dress nice.”

It looks really good and I’m so pleased the process worked well for you. It’s the cleanest way I know. I used to fart around with a slow cooker and while it worked it was green and weedy and gross at best.

This is fine baking grade.

Just don’t eat the whole thing by the spoonful like I did once. Mrs Foreigner says my IQ dropped 100 points for 2 days.

Hell yeah brother picked out my best bib …Incase I start drooling

That’s the first thing I noticed how clean and light it came out deff impressed and for that I thank you sir!

You’re very welcome. My pleasure.

You’re going to have to experiment with dosage because my math is admittedly very rough so start slow my friend…

Also note that the thc is now mostly decarbed so you shouldn’t need to bake very long. I do my cookies at 340 for 12 minutes.

Mrs. Foreigner is correct. I respect that level of dedication to baked goods.

I’d be hard pressed to find a cookie recipe that bakes longer than 12 minutes.

I think her rationale is that technically weed butter is a clarified butter and the milk solids are essential, maybe even the liquid too, I dunno. She’s the baker not me.

She bought a stand mixer and is now a pro. She creams not melts etc. She knows what she’s doing. Division of labour and all that. It’s what marriage is all about.

I used this recipe :yum:
https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/no-bake-chocolate-coconut-snowballs/

Only change I made was the sugar…
1/2 cup of granulated sugar & 1/2 cup of icing sugar, still tottals 1 cup in the end and makes the chocolate alot better

Chillin in fridge right now before the Coconut rolling begins :sunglasses:

I feel like it would be missing an opportunity not to roll one or two of these in salt, just because… I mean, chocolate salty balls, it’s right there. Where’s @Slick1 to make these jokes when you need them made? They might actually taste pretty good too, sweet and salty work pretty well together.

I used 1/8th Teaspoon of Himalayan sea salt

So how were the coconut balls?

I can vouch for this, I used to do huge batches of infused butter/oil using a big sous vide water bath filled with mason jars that were weighted down. It’s the most consistent ive ever gotten my eddies and it scales up to large amounts pretty easily :sunglasses:
