The thread title is incorrect since @SweetLeaf has a Regular status and not a newbie one, Also this complaint is more appropriate for the Trades/Feedback section, where I assume exposing bad members is ok?
It would be OG suicide for SL and any other that is contributing to the site to scam other members for seeds.

I totally agree. Have become a member for a little over three weeks, as a mere coincidence, I had been feeling kind of suspicious of how human beings truly are deemed not to be trusted, ever, due to some lows in my immediate surroundings… and here I am, despite not being able to make a donation to OG due to restrictions to international transactions in my debit account, yet I’ve already been blessed with two generous offers of senior members to send me seeds, showing me once again, how wrong I can be… and just like others have mentioned, how absurd can that be? If it happens to be intentional, it is nothing less than to his or her own loss. And @anon98660487, I absolutely sympathize with your view, it isn’t really about the fact of not getting the seeds, it is indeed about how maliciously someone could act this way towards a fellow member, and not even give a rat’s a… about it. New fruits will come to you brother, in the form of unexpected, wonderful and knock off seeds, rare pearls in the ocean cannabic floor!

And like I’ve said it don’t take almost 2 weeks to get from AZ to Cali I’ve sent and received packages from there in the last week,
He didn’t send the seeds or I would have them this is not the only forum I trade seeds on
I’ve sent plenty of free seeds to people that are broke and want to grow I don’t expect anything back I have plenty of seeds I’m never going to use
But the thing that pisses me off this is a trade and I do expect the seeds,when I ask him for proof he sent the seeds he laughed (lol)

Totally agree. Nobody should give a shit about a few seeds but being lied to is not acceptable. I don’t do this to other people and I expect that nobody should do this to me.

I was a little surprised that you said it was SweetLeaf. Granted I haven’t personally done any trades with him, but he does have a journal and is an active member. If he did indeed respond with nothing but an LOL when you asked if he sent the seeds, that’s would be a bad move on his part. Though asking for proof of something being sent without tracking, after the fact, is somewhat silly, maybe that’s what the lol was about. But I for one can’t afford to send every set of seeds out with tracking.

Not saying you don’t, just would be bad form on his part. Wether he sent them or not, responding like that wouldn’t look right, and I understand if you feel like you got lied to. I’m not defending him either, just surprised since that type of thing will just hurt himself if he is going to be hanging around.
But you also should take the current state of things into consideration, just because he got it quickly doesn’t mean yours too the same rout to you. When I had that set not show up, the pepper seeds I sent arrived in about 10 days, the second set he sent arrived in about a week. Still no first set or word of it being returned to the sender.

I sound like a broken record,I trade seeds all over the states and I’ve never had to wait this long on a package from anywhere in the USA 5 days max
I will do my best to maintain the tradition and pass along when I can.
Not saying anyone is right or wrong on this thread your opion is yours but personally. My post office just left after 12 hr. Day and there are 5 full routes that did not get delivered. Except for there packages. So any outgoing letters did not get picked up. Some have been there three days. Drop boxes are way to go with letters now adays but Tracking is way to go and still isn’t as accurate as before bc the box full of packages gets scanned not each one anymore. Yet we had a carrier from a office 30 minutes away come help today. He’s having trouble even getting a full 8 hour day and they don’t have routes get left behind bc properly staffed. Also from my understanding the machines taking out of offices where all broken. There are still working machines in big hubs. USPS could have kept and parted out thou for broken ones. All depends on where from where. Neighbor to neighbor could take longer than across country even.

I’ve had some members send me seeds just because we were having a chat about strains and experience. Most are seeds they made themselves or were gifted to them. But I’ve had a few send me breeders seeds too, from packs they just received themselves and were excited about the genetics/deal they got. That’s just the OG way, and I’m doing my best I can to catch up on the returning and passing forwards.
In your defense @anon98660487 I am in mo just got one from az in 11 days. I would be questioning it in my head to. Also please atleast post on your other threads. I enjoy reading them and your mask game is on point!
