Dequilo's 2021 grow some indoor fun:) closed 3/32021

@JoeCrowe no nothing in the water  but I do use the rooting gel they

say it helps to heal the stem end and speed up callusing

also stop embolism

I have use rootone powders and nothing at all they still root

Air I have two big ass air stones in each cloner and a air pump

I believe it does 950 gph pump lots of air

hard to drown a plant in air filled water

all the best and I love to read about your work

I was curious about that as well. I’ve seen people use nothing but (what looked to be) ph water. I was wondering if that was really the case. I would go about using the root tech as well. Its a good product.

@HolyAngel they from here

https://fdmseeds.com/fdm-originals/8-general-s-daughter.html

I bought about 150 seeds of their mixes the C99 mix 75 and the Durban Mix 75

they were 30% of and I have Cashapp/paypal/vemo/credit cards

no good sense so it was 100 dollars for 150 seeds the 5 General Daughter were

throw in

I was going to start them because everything in the photo is not a mix

but some of the unknown plants of Marks are looking pretty good

so it is time to watch them to see what is what

all the best and be safe

Everything is really nice looking. Neat and organized.
Its going to be a cool ride!

Ah that was it! Fleur De Mal, I knew I had seen it somewhere.
Yeah that’s a helluva deal, like Mark prices

in this case I had some known problems moving into the room

Spider Mites they ran me out of my own grow room the Borg

are brutal

I was moving plants inside from outside without spraying or worrying about

outside bugs I knew I had inside bugs

My inside grow environment was junk, air movement sucked, without opening a door

no fresh air

etc. etc etc.

so I needed to get it right and to do that I needed plants and needed

to get my soil-less right for seedlings as I was trying to use my course ass

Pro-Mix HP with lots of add perlite and vermiculite do not hold water

well enough and is not fine enough for young roots

no need to stress them to find strong one you can tell

just straight up Madness

no my heart is black as always

no worries on that the only person I need to please with my growing is me

so for now I am all good

fixed that for you just well water that is hard as a rock no need to test had these well

it is, not a bad price and goes a long way but willow water works as well

and an aspirin does the same

be safe and grow them big

I’m one of those people who uses nothing during the cloning process, I don’t even ph the water. It’s just 18C water with bubbles from the air pump.

I add lots of bubbles also they do appear to help

I tried it once with just water no bubbles they only root 50% success. It’s just like a glass of water on the windowsill. Saturation of oxygen in water is related to temperature, so if the temps are high, it’s not as good. 30C = not good.

@JoeCrowe all the plants my grandmother grew on the window sills

in Jelly Jars of water

she was I farmer so maybe the cow shit under the nails or the aspirin in the water

if I grew things half as well as her I would be a grow God

but I am not

but I do try to have fun

Thats horrible. Anything that dangers the well-being of my plants are a big stress trigger for me.
I really feel for you.
I’m happy your able to move back in.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. You do a great job. If you didn’t I wouldn’t pick your brain no where near as much😉

it is not bad being back inside but at the end of the day I love to grow outside

I love to be outside it keeps me somewhat sane

as for the plant it is suppose to be outside in the fresh air

and the soil outside in my gardens have had 25 years of three horse crap dump in them

it rocks

this season on the way out I plan on doing a flower run and fill the room

than shut it down for the season or stick males in there under lights

for a long day

but who know my plans are always fluid, subject to change at the drop of a hat

but My Friend in the end I will grow the weed

I agree I love the way outside plants turn out. I thought my cousin what I know this past summer. We would bringing in one plant about at time to flower. keept a steady stream of grass coming in. We only had one that finished all the way outside. At first he loved trimming. After the third plant he was tired of it. Lol
So your going to bring your out door inside to flower. Hope your plants dont bring any friends back home with them. Are you going to treat them to prevent that problem? I heard you say you use garlic and hot peppers on another thread. You use that or anything else?
I dont use anything. Im one the fence about preventive measures. I’m terrified of pest but I know its best not to spray your plants. I guess it may depend on the situation.

I’ve been adding microbial mass to the bubble cloner on recommendations from @AquaTerra 1/2 a mil per litre . Excellent results in 12 days ready to go into dirt.

I hear you there I trim by myself about 150 pounds of wet bud :frowning:

it sucked ass while I was doing but now it smoking well  and the pills

did that with three different inside runs over the summer 1 in a tent 2 in my room

any problem are long since done

neem oils works for lots of creepy crawly things

but I do not spray most of the time with anything where I fell down this time last year was

working on everything in my grow room expect for what needed to change the

grow environment

the room it’s self was the mite magnet the plants were the victims and I cannot get the

healthy them enough to beat the bugs

also there are things from Nature that will control most pest but it can be

more work easier to mix up 20 gallons of hot weed killer/bug spray spray once

maybe twice and done

be safe and grow well

MY ?

Y not explore say 18HRS of lite / 6 hrs of dark NORMAL
18HRS of lite / 6 hrs of dark DIVIDE BY 2 …X. ( 9 LITE. / 3 DARK )
" DIVIDE. BY …3…( 6 LITE. /. 2 DARK )
" DIVIDE. BY …4…( 4.5 LITE. /.1.5 DARK )

EACH CYCLE represents a grow cycle . This should make the plants in their early vegetive stage grow faster and larger before the flowing stage is started.

MY ? Should this B EXPLORED

I like that approach.
My 1 st grow plants get a full 6 hours of dark during the day.
Supposedly the roots grow while the plant recovers from the light.

Thats a very interesting concept of dividing the times to make the overall day short. I wounder if anyone has tried this.
