A Real Update 01/08/2021

Ok all I have just started to train a few plants and cut around 30 clones

of five strain

I hope to root my clone and many just shit can the mothers from outside

just chop off 50 - 60 % of their root ball and put them in a smaller pot

cut of 75 - 80 % of the top growth and reveg them

as it will give me room something I will be way short of end no time at all

there is no way I can build anything fast enough

so here is a plant that I am test growing for @Heritagefarms it said vial B

and so it is for

it is an Auto-flower M/F I have never grown autos so I started them in cell packs

moved them to drink cups and 1 1/2 gallons

than asked pot size and founded out autos do not like to be repotted

oh so I moved them up to 3 gallon pots and the plant that is what you started in

we is all good

back to the UBC Chemo cross I got from @OleReynard Thank Sir

is a Tank it sat in mud and wet still grew stayed green = a keeper

4 different Monster Cookie x UBC Chemo with some scissor training

I will let my seedlings go in small pots or drink cups until they are at

around the 4 -6 th node than cut them back to the second node then

wait four them to break new buds cut off two of the four true leaves off

let the new growth go than repot to a six inch square pot ( because I have them)

and off the last two of the first true leaves

and let them go

to grow brushes I grew for about ever under 400 watt light as they are cheap to run

easy to get and cost nothing to run

grow well and a 400 watt light will give you a LB every 8 weeks like clock work

but your plants need to be kept short

400s only penetrate the canopy around 40 inches with a 40 x 40 inch foot print

and just to make not the Plant Abuser comes from the training of plants not

killing

anyone can kill beans/plants it takes a bit of work to keep them around to

abuse

as they say here the rub these plants on the bench are not suppose to be with me

but they lived so I grow them

I am so glad that I did not plant beans yet but took cuts as I can throw the mother

away if I need room

I will not be flowering anything over than autos

it is the LIFTA when you think or do not care if they grow the plant does

need them, have to have them, would just die for them and no grow

we kill our plants with kindness, we look at them as people like us

I thought this was Hash Pasion but it is Hash Passion(Moroccan) from my

note but remember I do lots of drug

this is Black and Blue from NEW420GUY I know nothing about it come from

the beginning of 2020 because it was cheap and I had problems with mites

and if they lived different genetics

it is on the bucket forgot to look but it is coming back in a hempy

plants are starting to grow and it will be a real problem in the every nice

Looking good, I transplant mine also and don’t have issue as long as your smooth about it and don’t shock the root system.

they grow well, I transplant all the time always start in a small pot and move up

over the years I have to take plant that have been flushed in soil-less because

of problem

to just knock off the wet soil-less repot it into dry soil and let come back start watering

or feeding correct

transplanting a plant is as harmful to the plant as you make it

your work rocks

I grew out killfields maybe 6 times great weed the purple phenotype is pretty but the green is much better
Selene is supposed to be the regular version of sugar punch so it’s got to be good
I run a rebel yell x Selene sinisters old gear it’s awesome

Never ran jackberry it’s on the list
I may still have some of his extremea in the vault but those are at least 15 years old lol bean hoarder

Strain, grow style and so but there is 4 by 8 box I put up in the beginning of this thread

that had 3 - 400 watts light for 1200 watts and I was doing 1200 grams run after run

in pots

I did a couple of Sea of Greens that did better but a high plant count and in 2003 not

a good idea in New York

Yeah thats something I need to work on. Cause I’m only get 2.5 per. To me that feels unacceptable. My lights pull 100w. I have two of them. And ontop of that I’m running DWC. So I should be pulling 200 gms. I only veg for a month though. I might start going 45 days for veg.

@LilJonB sadly My Friend as to you and your yield with LEDs I am not the one

but I can help you with yield of plants

strain plays a big part I have always got overall better numbers from a grow with a single strain

or two very similar strains

at some point in yield you environment comes in to play they are all cannabis but they do

not all thrive in the same conditions as we all know

so you do get the idea

here is a points that I changed in my grow room (environment) I was running my lights out temp

around 62 -63 F so I bumped it up to 64 - 65 F it was noticeable how much it help the plants

to recover from my abuse

I work on getting better air flow and hot air extraction put in an 18000 BTU AC unit so I do

not get above 80 F with lights on

I keep it around 78 F I had very bad Mite problem and by controling my heat
I was running last year at the coolest 82 F

if you have mites at all and get them hot above about 81-82 the will breed like rabbits

but now my plants are getting healthy, my environment is getting dialed in I have got my

mites under control and I can start harden my plants to them and chewing bugs

I will start giving my plants at each watering Silica Blast which helps to harden the plants cell walls

since I did not add to my Pro Mix HP and there is no sand in it I will need to add Silica

but too much Blah Blah Blah roll pictures

so with a little help my poor beat up plants will get to spend some quality time

with me soon enough

as I will be out of room in a couple of weeks so I will hack at them to keep them in line

with space

the 4 vial Bs I have left in their final pot 3 gallons in Pro Mix HP

UBC Chemo cross being made into bushes very uniform plants I love F1s

so you get the idea I will turn things into bushes for now as room is short

they will stay in 6 six square pots for as long as they can and then 1 1/2 gallon pots

being pot bound at some point will help sexing

Yep I love f1’s also, i prefer to make my own f2’s.
Don’t really like getting/buying f2’s.
Farther up the fgen ladder the weaker and more chances of breeder error.

some of the F2s I have bought from breeders show no selection as to the parents they are all over the

place

I am going to make a load of F1s to give anybody and everybody of some just old solid

genetics (my view point)

and make myself some F2s and F3s but be very picky as I Know what I like to grow

I got three different mixes of beans and will plants lots looking for the

one or two real nice females and a male or two

I hear alot of talk of people liking the way f1s grow. But thats where I get a little confused.
The f1s are not yet stable. I guess if you wanted to pick your own phenos to get what you want for your f2s and so on until you get what your looking for and stabilize it.
What comes after the the f line. Is it up to the breeder when they decide when and if its stable? Like when you buy seeds from a breeder and they don’t say its a Fx is it supposed to be stable?
If I got anything wrong please let me know.

I’m investigating money into being able to control my environment better. One big ticket item is a chiller for my resivor. It was way to high this past summer. I might have an opportunity to move my grow to the basement. If not soil in the summer. Hydro in the winter.

F1s are an out crosses so you get what they call Hybrid Vigor the best of both parents

lots of vegetable seeds people plant are F1s they grow hardy, and lots of the time they have

resistance to common diseases

F2s are a cross between to relatives (brother x sister) so now you double up on the bad even if

the parents look great

they still have recessive traits in the back ground that you have breed to

F3s are where you weed out the weak, the mutated and unwanted because they are painfully

obvious in your F2 offspring

but your F3 offspring are more uniform and true to type if you did the work in selecting

uniform parents

my friend that is the quick and the very dirty explanation and remember I got out of college in 1977

and have not worked in the industry in decades

Jackberry is very nice weed and an easy to grow, very pretty plant! if you have space in your garden in the next run I recommend choosing this. mine had a flowering time of roughly 8 weeks.
