Dirt Wizard's Magic Wand Factory and Library Lounge

I try to do daily or close to daily updates for my own logging, but also as I grow more seeds from members or pro breeders here on OG, that the set photos every day are helpful for you in seeing how your plants grow out. Thanks for the work you all do and your generosity with seeds, both affordable filled tubes from the banks and all the gifts I’ve received on here in the last year or two since joining. I’m hoping to join the ranks of generous chuckers soon!

@Dirt_Wizard the CBG beans have arrived!! Thank you thank you my friend!
Also let’s have a bit of a story time about something called “Vietnam Bomb”!!!
Here’s what I found: Vietnam Bomb=Blue Orca/(Vietnam Black x The One/Panama) x Talk of Kabul/Vietnam Black
But I would very much like to hear the 5 W’s on these. :bear::ear::ear:

That’s the story I got too! Ordered them directly from Gas/Swami a few years ago during one of the end of season sales, I think it was end of ‘21. Looked neat!

Big ups to @Enjoi802 for bringing the latest Copa packs to us first at a discount, I got on the OG prerelease before the other banks got them and though I wasn’t buying seeds, this cross couldn’t pass me by. I’ve smoked a lot of the real AJ in NYC years ago like 2016-2018 and it’s some of the best I’ve had. Also real curious about this P25 with the old Iranian, my experience says that’s a good genetic for my head, and fems are a welcome treat at the Magic Wand Factory. $40 shipped got me these little babies along with some testers from Enjoi that might have to get grown out with momma Purple Moonshine he already sent me last year (in a Bic Stic! So good.):

New pipe day (actually weeks ago but I forgot to post it), here’s my summary in the Heady Glass thread but basically- local woodworker makes sick as fuck pipes for way less than he should be charging for hardwoods and such, does custom work, super duper recommend Steve’s Dank Pipes, this jammy hits like someone who actually smokes weed designed a better, sort of organic Cubist/Futurist meerschaum. Glass bowl insert, he includes a replacement and a 3x pack is $15 or something, so you can swap them whenever you want or accessorize. I love this thing, it’s satisfying my need for a dry hammer or Sherlock so good right now and only cost me $50 at the local hydro shop that introduced me to his stuff.

Out of likes, but have to say your plants look awesome bro!! and that wooden pipe is cool as hell!! I am a fan of Copa’s work. I’ve seen they have some new Fems for outdoor varieties like The Diesel Project! Lady Z and I have an eye on a few for outdoors this year. Good Luck with the Malana!!

Yeah! The fems are new and that’s neat, just like how Tonygreen is starting to do autos, I like it when breeders offer different forms of their genetics for folks

Had to prune my aloe today so I juiced the goo out by hand and blended it with a tablespoon of Grade B maple syrup and two gallons of water, fed it to all the girls in veg and flower:

Damn dirt I had a lot of catching up to do here man but it all looks amazing. Real interested to see what you find out of those malana seeds, I had similar thoughts about northern Indian plants doing well in New England, I’ll be curious to follow your work dude

@LegsMahoney Looked like two made it and I probably killed the the other, I’ve been too fiddly and impatient with these seeds and killed a few trying to pry helmets, I got a mini Vice grip to crack more carefully and need to start some more for another indoor round soon to make sure my techniques are good, but I’ve had a lot of family emergency lately and I think my head’s just not in the game with being patient.

Thanks for the kind words, man. We’ll see how the Malana do but it’ll be interesting, I might pop a few more things to try tossing out guerrilla with once a month visits just to see what happens with some strains here.

She loves the compost tea and Osmocote I give her, there’s so many pups I need to repot a bunch and leave the main stem but in a bigger pot, wanna get them into big dogs and gift some this spring to local people for their porches

Sansevieria is such a cool plant as well and very easy to propagate (assume that’s what’s near the basil). Your tent always looks incredibly healthy with some skillful pruning for sufficient airflow as well, love the work you’re doing!

Just re-potted like a half dozen aloe pups myself, love how forgiving that plant is

It is! I always just heard if called Snake Plant but it’s a hardy one, it was sad after a year in the kitchen so I moved it up and she’s very happy now. All my house plants and trees need repotting soon with the longer days. I haven’t tried propagating it yet but I guess I will!

I do obsess a bit about airflow, my tent is fed by a 6” AC Infinity up top and a 4” Vivosun on the floor, with an office fan circulating on the floor, and two clip 6” Vivosun fans up above the canopy. Eventually I want to get a Vornado tower that is three feet long and puts out an air curtain to mount horizontally up high and get rid of the clips, I don’t really like them compared to just using higher quality house or industrial fans. Definitely have gotten into lollipopping plants moderately and thinning the canopies of runners to get penetration all the way down, that’s also part of my IPM plan since I’m running three hours a day of 2x Solacure Super-B tubes that will help wipe out PM if they can penetrate (which it won’t through leaves). I also keep my humidity at 60% straight through veg to flower with a push down at the end if I can manage to 50% for finishing. No lost plants or even buds yet, no PM or budrot/botrytis here between that and some silica feed and PureCrop1 foliars.

New lime just dropped, this is a neat one from Espoma that I just found when buying grass seed and starter mix at the local pet and garden store. I’m going to reserve a third of it for the Magic Wand Factory and my veg garden before putting the rest down with the grass seed. It’s been micronized before getting pelletized, so it only takes 6-8 weeks to work. Pretty neat! Also added humic acids because why not.
