Tiki seedbank used to have some awesome African genetics. I was so bummed when I got back into the scene to see they were no longer around.

This was the first successful strain I grew to harvest back in like 2004/2005 was really great stuff

Adding that to my list of breeders/seedbanks to look out for! Thank you for the firsthand report, definitely interested in worked genetics that old from breeders, when I have more cash I want to try and track down some of the Heirloom Malawi work from Equilibrium Genetics, which would mean mostly calling a few dozen dispensaries and grow stores in CA to see who had old stock

No problem. There’s still old threads up on icmag. I don’t think I remember anyone being disappointed with any of their crosses.

Right now what I’m scraping up a little money for is a pair of packs from 707 of their Kush Cleaner work in honor of Loran on 420 sales, one of them is a heirloom Malawi/NL5Haze that looks just :chef’s kiss:

I’ve got some lemon glue from equilibrium but I don’t think there’s anything heirloom in that lol

I’ve been trying to get a master score together from mr nices stuff. The nl haze has still eluded me lol I’m up to 15 solid wins though I think.

Oh wow I never knew about these. I still have some of Lorans Long Bottom Leaf he gifted me before he passed away. Their Triple Sec (Lemon Tree #4 x Kush Cleaner) sounds like it’d be a good one. Loran was a great guy. I was sorry to hear he passed away.

I was looking on the Dicaperl Minerals website and they have a lot of interesting materials from themselves and the Perlite Institute about the stuff they make: perlite, vermiculite, and diatomaceous earth. I downloaded a few of them since they want an email registration for their list to access, figured I’d share here:

Maybe only incidentally weed-related for many, but a great thing for anyone in the outdoors including all you :gorilla: :evergreen_tree: gals and guys. In a lifetime of working and recreating outdoors this is maybe my favorite piece of rain gear I’ve ever had, paired with this umbrella when it’s pouring or I want to smoke. Also a great way to defeat the trail cams that are more and more common in the outdoors if you’re not looking to be photographed sometimes, and it fits right down into a shoulder bag or lumbar pack, or even a hunting vest with big pockets. Love this thing, I carry it everywhere in the Northeast where rain just happens:

If you’re in Europe, Snugpak is a UK based company and then this is a similar nice one from Vaude:

My favorite hiking umbrella:

After many years in many types of waterproof breathables and PVC or sil-nylon pant and jacket sets, I can say now fuck that anytime it’s not near freezing out and blowing sideways. This setup is so much more comfortable and useful plus a great emergency shelter if I needed it. And it cost less than a single quality jacket or pair of pants.

Pair them with the best rubber Wellies I’ve ever had and some expedition weight hunting socks and I’m out there when it’s swampy and icy no problem:

Grundens is, IMO, the only brand to consider for PVC slickers, their shit is durable, comfortable, and you can get it made in the US sometimes like those flagship boots. I wear this apron all the time at the farm and at home for washing bikes and other sloppy house chores:

That’s a good looking poncho, I like how big it is, so it covers a back pack no problem.

Oh yeah that’s the idea, and when ya don’t have one on you can sit on it right and not get the backs of your thighs wet

Been thinking a lot lately about what my plan and schedule is for the Vortex Coop Preservation now that things have settled down a little from the last few months of family tragedy and chaos. Think I’ve got it coming together soon, but this post from @DougDawson that I just found is a little more kick in the pants to get that working along for everyone, this is so cool, a flow chart of TGA Subcool strain lineages:
