I had a great weekend in the end, super soggy on the way out and it took a while for it to drain off since things are already saturated, but the weather was great Saturday-Monday for the event and my ride home, I spent Sunday night on the Atlantic coast in an old stone quarry up on a ledge where they took out a car sized rock 200 years ago. Fall and mild winter weeks are my favorite times to get out and camp, I like to stealth camp cool places and it’s easier when there’s fewer people around.

I’m hooked on seed preservation, you all! Thinking now about what my next, first non-Coop run will be, news to come here soon but I think it’s time to pop some more seeds now that I can see the end of the Vortex run coming in early November. I promise it’ll be exciting!

Found my own reference here to figure out how long these girls have been flowering since I took shit notes, it’ll be Day 70 (roughly) on Monday, looks like Zip Tape is a ten-weeker and Frogspawn maybe eleven.

I’m not a omens and portents guy except for fun, but I’ll take it today, this means it’s going to be a great day for me:

Starting with chopping down this Copa Zip Tape

Vortex tent F28 I think:

Clones to trade with @catapult this week, we’re gonna do a JTR-Vortex F1 exchange since we turn out to be pretty close IRL and are both doing Subcool preservation runs this summer/fall. That’s gonna lead to some fun chucking around here, you betcha:

I’m sending along my Big Don girl because I’m convinced I hit the jackpot on this pheno, I smoke it every damn day now and it’s barely cured, so I have a bunch more cuts getting ready for flower:

The Fridge of Preservation and Dankness, got more slaps to put up soon when I get a chance:

RIP to Malana Pasture, my first outdoor plant in the ground. She was awesome in every way and I’m going to enjoy smoking it a lot!

Thanks again to everyone in the sativa threads here for helping me figure out what would grow well and finish for a landrace sativa in New England, especially @lefthandseeds @Upstate @StocktonT @MAHAKALA @Elchischas and many more and to @US3RNAM3 specifically for sending me these seeds and saying you’re right this is the one. He wasn’t wrong.

At first it went to the garage for a first trim, but it was too high humidity here to leave it out there, so now it’s in the basement with the double dehueys running:

Great plants! I enjoyed the grow. Congrats on your harvest — I hope you enjoy the smile. You’ll have to let us know what it’s like.
