Here is a F1 strain I made.by crossing DJ Short Blueberry F5 x Hopar Valley Selection #2 2021. I named it Blue Hopium. This creation turned out like I saw her in my dreams.
*Effect is a blanket of calmness with a little bit of chuckle/smiley. Almost no cerebral effect other than feeling 60% calmer in mind and body. Never had a strain with such an effect. Must be the landrace genetics.
Im not sure about anybody here running the 90s blues. There were a few growers on icmag but they locked the seed boutique forums where we posted. Theres some guys on ig rocking them and doing well. Feel free to message me about blueberry options.
Some very nice Blueberry in here
I really miss the Old Blue velvet
Blue heaven was another winner from DJ
Sativa Dom types…more of the choco thai lineage
Blue bonic was another at the same time as Johnny Blaze
I believe the reason why JB wasn’t kept around was not many people grew it
Packs were still available a year or so after release
It certainly had some special phenos
The Bluebonic was really nice…A blueberry/sweet pink grapefruit type
I found some very nice Indo Dom blueberry in this packs
Dutch passions 2000 release…as sad as it is to say gave me more of what U was looking for in blueberry than DJ,s releases
Still…DJ is certainly an artist
Happy growing

It’s early days but it smells amazing already, to my eye it has the shape and bud structure of 90s Dutch passion blueberry which was legendary around here.
I’ve another blueberry mother it’s got a different build and bud structure.
Lol…ya that’s all I’ve been reading too on the forums fwiw. Tbh don’t pay attention to online forums, it usually doesn’t reflect accurately. I could give you a million examples. In my experience with his stuff be prepared to be super patient in veg. Plants are slow with strange growth that straightens itself out after a while. His stuff doesn’t like nutes either. If your an experienced grower go for it, a newbie hold off.
I think djs stuff is unique in today’s market. However it’s nit the most rewarding stuff yield wise, growth wise etc. Honestly there’s way easier stuff out there that way more consistent. You can find good things and bad about every variety online. His genetics gave me my favorite plant of all time, but that was 20 years ago hahaha . To this day the johnny blaze remains thr best smoke ive ever had. Personally id run his seeds with other things to compensate for slowness. Cant comment on recent seeds, that’s my 2 cent.
Check out blue v2 for blue velvet lineages. Dj selected f4 parents of narrow leaf bbs choc thai and juicy fruit thai mothers. I also made an unreleased outcross with those mothers to my blue star males.
Dp used Dj’s same stock. Dp selected for their desire, while Dj always selected toward effect after smoking the final product. Its the exact same lineages, just selected different parents. You can find it all in his stock still, plus jd and I do outcrosses where you can find the most lip smacking full flavored blueberry till the end of a joint. Some outcrosses are extremely vigorous and high yielding as well as that amazing flavor most people are after. The ones that stand the test of time though, are the ones that light you up in effect.
First light and f13 have been my favorites so far, Josh.
A IT guy my dad worked with, grew blueberry to pay for his Creighton University education. He was able to score one bag off him after some years of working with him.
Never tried bb until i grew it. And my DJ
knowledge is recently attained.
Anything info that you might be able share on the cocobubble, would be greatly appricated brother!
