Do you smoke Thai?

Made seeds to work with it in breeding
Love the taste and the high. Does not seem to be landrace as they say, buds are super dense and sticky.

well if it had real dense buds I’d be suspicious too, especially if you are thinking of using it to make seeds, but if it is good smoke and make good seeds it’s a win either way for you

[/quote] that’s a bit of shame, would love to see some pics if you have.

I have some that I crossed with Brutal Paw and DTHFII I just put down a test on. Keep an eye out on the free seeds thread I did do a couple branches for F2 but tags fell off so there are some mixed in with the two x’s should be Fire either way…favorite plant from last year as far as taste and potency. “Three hit and quit!” And my meds are GG4 so I’m no lightweight. Great pain killer hits behind the eyes, dense bud and smoke you can feel your lungs absorbing THC, head rush light head swim my, warm and fuzzy as it settles in…if you can run testers on these I’ll send right away, really think these will be star pupils from last seasons breeding (40 strains)…
Here’s another of the Black Brutal Paw x’s I just finished trimming

I would imagine you could finish just about anything in New York if you’re dedicated enough. Anything 16 weeks flowering or less, begin flowering around June 1st, giving them 12 hours of Darkness somehow everyday. Whether it’s covering them in a greenhouse, or bringing them into a dark room everyday. Extend the dark period to 13 hours, over the course of the next several months. Working in 15 minute increments. This will get you done by our first Frost, give or take. For varieties that take longer than 16 weeks, you will have to begin flowering them indoors, and bring them outside on June 1st for the remaining 16 weeks. The Malawi I had that went the full 16 weeks was resiny, with compact Buds, and very potent. Keep the pot sizes very small to keep the plants mobile, or you will be moving a tree or covering a tree every night. 3-5 gallon should be the size pot you are aiming to finish them in, with 10 gallon size at the ready.

Nice nugs there instiga8tor. Looks like some potent smoke. Did you get to smoke any of the Durban Thai high flyer? Always wanted to try that one.

Yes, it is very much like the full moon, I would say the taste is savory herbs with a caramel sweetness

@StocktonT this thread has made me want to grow something indoors from your area. What would it take for me to score some sativa seeds on your behalf? Please pm me

Throwback

Found some old pics of a phenotype of Vortex (Apollo 13 x Space Queen) that I grew about 10 years ago. This wasn’t my first pick (the one I posted last year was) but it was much easier to clone and grow. Really quick from clone and it would always make for multiple tops without much training, like a bucket of buds on stick. The pictures are from my third or fourth clone run and I was playing around with fading the plants which makes for the very yellow and a bit of purple spots on her…

Blue Dream crossed to a Kandahar Afghani. I called this the grandmother phenotype as I saw a lot of Super Silver Haze in her though the Afghani male sure did beef up the flowers and shortened the hight and the flowering time. I had some cool things come out of the other phenotypes but this was my favorite one as it was a surprisingly up and happy high.

Blue Dream crossed to a Kandahar Afghani, this one made a giant (to me) main bud and had more of a typical afghani structure with that main column and a crown of lowers that were pretty heavy as well. Smoked like lemon marengo pie with a nice, calm and pretty bright stone.

DA #3 done and finished

Hey I must have missed this post, I blame cannabis as I must have been stoned hehe. DTHF means Durban Thai High Flyer right? Where did you get them? Are they the old release or a new one and by whom? How far along are you now? Sorry for all the questions. DTHF was some real nice weed indeed!

I have my cross of DTHF II which is Durban Poison x Highland Thai x C-99
And I crossed with Brutal Paw and Full Moon. Taste on full moon and DtHF are similar and my favorites, savory flavors of spices And herbs the full moon hits like a hammer by the third hit. But are great Thai based plants with dense rocket shaped buds of high potency.

Ok, cool. I remember the old Durban Thai Highflier, was a good Thai hybrid.
