Doc is busy and probably cant repeatedly explain the nuances when discussing the “strength” of a cross. There are so many factors to consider when discussing the strength of the progeny from a cross… He would just open himself up to a tsunami of questions if he started discussing the definition of “strong” haha.
Thats why I make my posts when I have time. I run through hundreds of Doc’s seeds and really want to help others purchase the correct strain for their personal goals. I also share all notes/aggregate tester feedback to Doc D. Though I am a bit behind at the moment.

That dragon soul is looking pretty dominant in here, interesting! Most of the PU crosses I’ve seen, granted they’re using a PU male instead of a female, the PU male is super dominant. As-is I’m not sure you’ll get much purple out of these, my purple nl2’s were all coming in purple hard right now… These look fantastic tho regardless ^^

Thanks. I do like Purple bud as much as the next guy/girl but it’s no biggie. I got some more to play with in the future and I’m sure I’ll find a better female .
I got 2 lil Bandaid Haze girls that are in desperate need of an up potting but I’ll get some pics of them up later although not much to see at this time

How’s the trichome production on your PNL2’s, @HolyAngel? I trimmed and jarred mine a few days ago and there was a distinct lack of frostiness on her buds. Usually, when I’m trimming, my scissors get all gunked up and I have to clean them every thirty minutes or so, but I only had to clean my scissors off twice in the four or five hours it took me to get the PNL2 trimmed up. And the buds just look “blah.” They’re purple for sure, but they look like shittily-grown outdoor weed. Super-stinky, though.

yeah no thats about accurate. not overly frosty or anything, there was definitely some bare spots on the calyx’s…
idk if its how I trim or what but I NEVER have scissor anything, doesn’t matter what it is. Can trim 5 plants and I might pull off 0.1g of smokeable stuff, definitely wouldnt call it hash or rosin, just bud pieces and resin…
I pulled mine a bit early but yeah, looks like some purple outdoor herb. Potency is ok, up there for purple stuff but on the low end of anything green I’ve had in the last decade or so. It’s drying out to just some basic indica herb with a slight creative aspect to it… Waiting to trim the last two before I decide if i’m tossing the last clones or not.

Really? That’s interesting. I don’t even really “trim” per se, just because I let the plants dry out enough to where all I have to do is kind of flick the sugar leaves off with the tips of my scissors. But even doing it that way, my scissors always get tons of “hash” or whatever you wanna call it on the ends every half-hour or so. There was so much when I was trimming the Uplifts that I thought to myself,”I really oughta be smoking this…” haha! I never smoke it, though, I just wipe it off with a paper towel and some rubbing alcohol and return to the task at hand.

yep, same here. I trim after 12-16 days, whenever the leaves can be straight flicked off. I always trim at the base of the petiole tho, so maybe thats why i’m not getting any buildup

The Purple Unicorn x Dragon Soul would prob benefit from training or fimming as the ones I’ve grown (very few) didn’t really branch out. Or you could pack em in to increase yield as it seems they don’t take up much horizontal space.
