Doc D cannabis seeds

Hm. I wonder if it’s because he’s growing them hydroponically. I’m fully expecting them to get pretty stretchy, but I’ve seen some that haven’t stretched much at all. Somebody’s posting pictures of some Bandaid Hazes in this very thread that look pretty short to me.

I wondered that too. You can feed heavier in hydro. I think he said he runs 300 watts of LED in a 4x2 which isn’t crazy, he’s at 37.5 Watts per sqft in LED.

Yeah I saw the pictures in the thread, they looked pretty manageable. IIRC he said 2 gallon soil plants.

I run my keeper cut of Bandaid Haze IX 3.0 right from rooted clones. I take cuts and the moment they show roots I flip to flower and even then I have to LST them to keep them under control.

Those bandaids I posted are in 1 gallon fabric pots. I’ll get some new pics up later.

Oh yea someone said something about dirty mop water pheno. I have a KillerA5 × Zamaldelica that smells exactly like that. So Maybe the Cuban is derived from the A5 Haze.

Piff/Cuban Black Haze are nl5haze, aka a5haze, phenos.

I read the stories but I thought it was speculation as to the exact lineage.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s speculation, definitely hasn’t been verified. But the people who are speculating on it are people who are super-familiar with the NL5Haze? I think? I love NL5Haze, smoked a lot of it, but it’s never affected me the way I’ve read it affects other people, with that sorta “teeth-gnashing, white knuckle” kinda come-up. Always been a very groovy high to me haha.

The A5Haze stuff does this exact thing for me…
It’s the more common nl5hazeC that is much smoother, imo.

That’s interesting. I wonder if every batch of NL5Haze I ever got was the Haze C male. Is that the one that was kinda more widely grown? Because you know me, I’m sensitive to those kinda “racy” strains, but every time I’ve ever blazed NL5Haze, it was very pleasant. Super-strong and very stony, but I’ve never, ever felt panic-y after smoking it.

Nl5hazeC is what was sold by The Seed Bank and later Sensi Seeds.

Nl5hazeA, Nevil kept for himself and select friends/buyers got clones, and it was used in crosses.

Karma has the a5haze Nevil himself selected, for instance.

Beautiful, I’m glad I grabbed a few of those!
How many days in flower are they?
also, 80 how many degrees?
Reason I ask is my summer temps inside are closer to 90 than 80. Air temps are pretty steady around 88, but it is just starting to warm up, so I expect higher temps in August. A little warmer than I’m used to. Still hoping to get some colors though.
Just have to water more often and plant the hot weather cultivars in the summer months.

Ranges between 80 and 82 most days.
Can’t recall how old they are. I’ll go back and see when I first posted them.

I think that any Purple Unicorn cross you grow is gonna purple up, regardless of the temps. If that’s what you’re concerned with. Bodhi did a great job of breeding that PU to make sure it passes on the purple traits.

How it smokes is a different story…

Oh shit… I’m about to trim some PU. Is it not good?
