It’s crazy some of the negativism that come out of people mouths around here.
Brother is doing all that he can to stop what he is thinking is someone making a $.
Its fux’d up because he is ignoring that it’s being done out of good will.
I think brother missed the part where I said, “I’m not a fan of the bud.” But I don’t mind helping someone who is interested get there hands on it.
The one thing I do know is that it’s been around here over 36 years. The only ones that have it are the older guys around here. And most of them have died off. So I do think it’s a good find if it’s legit.
I’ve made arrangements to meet up with the guy to get a sample and to talk about what it is and where it comes from.
Right now I can only go buy what the older guy who got it for me says.
He says the buzz is right, it last along time and it has the taste.
It’s awesome how fux’d up some people can be when someone is trying to be helpful.
It’s like he doesn’t want y’all to have this.
But I find it messed up, when he ignore the guy that’s campaigning all day every day on just about every post. ^^^^

this is how auto flowers are done. Future smoke that taste like the weed of old. The Nympho. I call it weed because that’s what we called it back when I was in high school. And this ain’t that grass your paw paw was smoking.

I love cheese but I’ve never had any that remind me of the skunk I got in the 90s.
Not denying there’s Skunk #1 in the lineage, but that’s likely after the roadkill was bred out.
That’s a strain I’m in short supply of cheese ! I might have 2 different varieties in the vault I’ve known the skunk is a descendant of the cheese just never really thought that much about it till now.
I agree with you brother because I didn’t think the cheese smelled like skunk either.
But the guy above said get some cheese because it’s the same thing.
I figure if they was the case, everyone wouldn’t be looking for skunk.
The older guys says he has one more source for it. I’ll also ask a couple more older guys that’s known to have it.
I read somewhere skunk seeds are tiny…
My experience with tiny seeds come from plants that are self pollinating. It just my experience, I don’t want to argue with anyone.
Years ago I had a guy gives 10 of the tiniest seeds that I ever seen. I reversed one of the plants and breed to another, not one of those seeds that made where tiny.
When pollination occurs late in flower, the seeds will be small because the plant doesn’t have time for them to get size before harvest. However the hey still will be viable.

Peak Seeds BC has a Sweet Skunk from '02. I haven’t grown them myself but I have heard good things.
They have a few different Skunk strains actually.
Sweet Skunk
Northern Skunk
Kush Skunk
Skunk Berry
I have some Ancestral Skunk that I got through Sebring. I can send some of those your way. I haven’t had a chance to grow them yet tho, so I can’t tell you much lol

Ironic, tho, that you got so negative towards me, when I wasn’t bad-mouthing anyone besides cookie-fam and gage green. I can call out some scam artists who’ve been selling skunk with no skunk in it, if you prefer. Let’s start with Heime Cheeba. This list would be in the double digits if you want me to continue. Ancestral skunk is another scam. I can tag at least three people with first-hand experience to back up that claim.
I would guess, based on your response, you consider yourself the “average person.” Your emotions are a result of your subconscious belief that I’m talking about you. That’s not something I have control over. Only you can fix your self-esteem.

Or is livers not up to your likings? I mean, What do you recommend as a skunk substitute.

On another site, there’s a gentleman whos been popping insane amounts of seeds, tried just about every smelly cut and and is dedicating a lot of time and effort to bring back the non fruity skunk. Let me tell ya, he had to fend off villages of trolls when he started his thread years ago…
But yeah… the mere mention of skunk is sure to bring the disbelievers, many of whom used to have faith before spending hard earned dollars on hype lol

Fruity is the problem with the strain that I have. Yes it’s stinky all get out, but It has more of a neutral, very kushy and Afghani taste, with fruity chem undertones.
The guy that I got the seeds from asked me to breed them to my strain. I told him the people aren’t looking for that, they want the original taste of the the skunk weed.
He assured me that it definitely has the original taste and the high.
But like everyone else, but I’m skeptic too… so I’m trying to put hands on a sample of it to make sure it’s not fruity.
I remember growing out some seeds from some Mexican brick when I first started growing.
It was hard to believe it was the same weed because the brick weed tasted like ass. When I grew it out it tasted like lemon and berries. I’m just saying.
That why I’m asking.
I hear you about the sweetness, seems to go way back too. Skunk1 was already sweet in the mid 80’s.
Some fruity skunks are still shockingly tasty, orange skunk being one.
Like the oldtimers suggested, I would try to cross the old line with some known stinkers to see if the sweetness breeds true. You might be able to tone it down a bunch while still maintaining da stinky.
That would be a lot of work towards something you’re not a fan of.
I might not fully understand this. But if you’re willing to go through this much work simply to bring happiness to others, you certainly deserve your place in heaven.
i remember my 2000ish skunk having a slight berry exhale with pepper and dirt but not a fruity nose just pure dead skunk. i am sure everyones memories are going to be different and maybe even a little played up in our minds lol
I cross the Nympho to a lvtk. The original lvtk was nothing like the description. It barely had any smell unless I held it to my nose.
The cross however weeks of skunk. The lemon in it made me jerk my head back. It’s amazing how the Nympho brought the terps back to life and into what’s described on. Seed finder.
But she also added her grapes and orange terps. Deep in the back of my nose I smell vanilla kinda like baby oil or minerals oil. I don’t know if those where hidden in the lvtk or if they are the results of the cross.
I can do the same thing to the skunk if people are interested. No she want taste the same, but I guarantee she will be great. Plus she will be some of the most potent bud that you ever put your lips on.
