See what I mean? Very next person to speak says this ^^^ makes it hard to actually pick one to purchase
just get a cut of crybaby skunk
Lemon Skunk, sweet/fruity skunk like skunk1 are common. I was only speaking of raw/non sweet skunk…
Orange Skunk can be very tasty too
My unicorn is the fairfax cut of 4 way or the strain “Fouroura Borealis” bob hemphill used fairfax cut as the momma for that one but sadly it was limited release. I keep checking to see if he uses that cut for anything else but nothing yet…I remember it as very sour and skunky legendary aroma
Maybe I have a strain haunting me from my past after all…
May I ask what does skunk taste like?
I remember when all weed tasted like grass.
Not to start anything, I genuinely want to know. So I will know what to look for.
My unicorn reeks of skunk. You don’t have to touch or bump her. You walk into the room and you know she is there.
But… I guess I fall under the category of the “lucky chucker.”
One of the plants that in used was a cheese plant. But the cheese was subtle and maybe about 25% chance of getting one that actually smell like cheese.
Therefore in my chuck, I still get a plant that smells like cheese, however It is still very subtle like the original cross.
I thought about breeding specifically for the cheese terp, but because of the overwhelming skunk it is very hard to distinguish while growing.
I’m terrible at describing smells and tastes but here we go lol
Tastes like gym floor wax and hops, add a touch of pine, burnt rubber, onion/garlic, maybe cucumber peel and were getting close. Coats the mouth.
Hahaha, beautiful
That’s what i was thinking.
Thanks for the reply.
I thought you were making fun of me until I googled crybaby skunk lol
Skunky Brewster?
I thought you were calling me a crybaby
It’s not gonna be like pure skunk but maybe check out Branson’s Royal Revenge from AwKid. It has a bunch of skunk1 in the lineage… MassSuperSkunk, skunk 1, and RFK skunk.
I’m flipping a couple MA Super Skunks to 12/12 today. If anyone was interested in some pollen for an ongoing project, I might be able to oblige.
A buddy come through today with what’s supposed to the some of the local skunk from the area.
Let us pray.
It looks to be about 41 good ones.
Buddy described it as the real ole school skunk. He said that it had a really good high that stuck with him. I asked about the smell and did it have it? He said that it does and that it’s real stuff we have back in the day.
I’ll see if I can meet the guy that it came from to get more background on it.
I’m hoping that it’s the pre 10 a g stuff that used to be around here.
I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan. I hated the sour skunky smell of it.
And that’s all you could smell anywhere we go because it’s all that we had to smoke around here. I never know thought people would be looking for it like they are.
Anyway, I’m going to trying to get 1 or 2 more sources of it. Maybe breed the best of them together. But that’s thinking ahead.
Nice find! Those seeds look huge!
Yes they are nice sized seeds.
I crushed the pale ones even though I’m sure some would have popped.
If it’s what I’m thinking it is, they grew this stuff around here for years. But it died out, when guys started selling for 10 a gram and no one else could make any $$$.
Every now and then, we can still smell it growing on some of the back roads.
Skunks aren’t plentiful around here, so when we smell it, we know it’s weed. If you stop near it, some old guy on a 4wheeler, carrying a shotgun guy would appear out of nowhere.
So we definitely know it’s there, but very not safe to attempt to find it. Lol
Some of my buddies who work in logging still talk about finding patches while working.
If anyone in the states is interested, I can get more. But first let me get a sample and try to get some background of what it is, from the guy that grew it.
Like I said in an earlier post, It’s around here, I just have to dig it up.
Now you just have to KNOW I’d certainly like to be on your List of lucky recipients!! EXCELLENT find, my friend. That SKUNK is STILL out there, probably in a lot of isolated places!!! Wishing you success, SS/BW…mister
Well… if you can confirm it’s da stinky, heck even if its halfway there, I think you’re going to break the internet
Meh.
Imagine how many seeds you’d have to produce, and the speed you’d have to move, to cover the market before someone with a bigger name uses your work as their own. I’d give it six months, maybe a full on year if you’re lucky.
If you want skunk today, cop some official cheese from a reputable UK breeder. It’s the same line, still producing that funk — they just changed the name when it crossed the pond.
Don’t trust anything that breaks the internet. The average person is stupid and does zero research. If it breaks the internet it’s probably trash *cough *cough all of cookie-fam *cough and gage green *coughcoughcough
Looking good. Thanks for keeping me updated.
