Easy Bubblehash

Alrighty, have a bunch of globs of semi wet hash sitting on a 25u screen over some paper towels. Do I just leave it there until I can break it up and jar it?

I don’t put mine in the freezer I just kind of max out the surface area and put it on cardboard so it wicks away. Blasphemy I know.

Thanks , wanted to make sure I was heading in the right direction :call_me_hand:

Really it works fine. Maybe move to a different part of the cardboard once in awhile but no worries at all.

I make a thin layer or cut it into tiny bits and let it dry in the freezer. Takes about a week.

Wow what an educational thread about bubble hash, the do’s and don’ts of what to expect. I really miss all the hash from late 70s at the end of summer and beginning of fall when the drought was on, the hash was sure to be around!

@Oldjoints @JoeCrowe

Thank you guys for providing such detailed info and ongoing support :+1:

Ended up with about 33g of the good stuff and another 5 or so for edibles from ~230 of bud/trim. Should keep me busy for a while! Two runs, hand stirred…. That shit was rough! Lol

Once this dries out in the freezer can I jar it up and keep it in the fridge or freezer long term?

I always keep it frozen and just take dabs out of the freezer. Couple of min to reach room temps and it’s good! Out of the freezer, it keeps crystallizing and losing volatile compounds.

Good little haul, enjoy your hard earned efforts!

It make you ache in places you never ache before from all that stirring. I would have to use something or someone to do all that stirring by hand. You are a better man than I! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Nice! I tried making hash years ago and had issues but thinking after reading everyone’s tips I may give it a go again.

Here is another little trick…
My 5 gallon bags are hard to get over the 5 gallon buckets. I struggled for a long time with them but then had a thought. Take each bag before using and run it under hot water and the bag will slip right over the bucket without any trouble.
Works great for me!!!
