Easy Bubblehash

If you squeeze it, the hash will never dry in the freezer.

Do you just set that plate in the freezer like that ?Or do you have to cover it with parchment or something?

Just like that, no cover.

Thanks @joecrowe @blowdout2269 and @Foreigner for the input. Yes I’m taking it for what it is live and learn no worries there. First time I made hash I used dry ice and scraped it up pit in mason jars uncapped and dried quickly obviously “dry” ice. First time with bubble hash and to start I went cheapo and got 1 gal bubble bags FYI spend the extra $20 for the 5 gal otherwise what a pita. Anyways I used the pressing cloth to pull off spoon and kinda pushed together I guess somewhere there I messed up. Ok so maybe you guys saying let thaw and try to just get fine as possible and see if can get to dry more. Yes it smokes alright has issues staying smoking like as soon as stop inhaling it stops burning which I like but think is right. Idk watch more videos and make sure I do better next time. Oh should I keep wet trim and dry trim separate when storing in freezer? Also keep separate when making hash? Thanks again

I’d say no squeezing or pressing out of the screens. This is likely how plant matter gets into the finished product.
Also, I would think if it goes out in between flames, it might be holding onto some moisture. All the bubble I’ve made or had would continue to smolder between puffs if not suffocated.

That’s what I thought. The instructions that came with bags said to use the 5 25u cloths to press the water out. It’s 110% my fault. Ive read some articles and watched videos of it being done differently then the method I was using. Stupid and dumb a mix between being lazy(not taking time to fully understand) and jumping in cause I got a hair up my ass didn’t need to be done just was pissed I couldn’t get dry ice and do be in head first. So still going with see how ground or fine I can get and see if can get some moisture out. I’m swimming up stream while trying to pull my boat with me. Going nowhere fast and stupidly as possible.

If I remember right, I think that I learned to use my bags from a YouTube video, hehe.
We were all still sketched out though. Like ok, now we’re gonna dump a bunch of ice and water on this 300 grams of premium bud…

Exactly I don’t grow like that lmao! Like I said trim and some really larfy larf.

I’ve got all the ice made, so today I decimate the crops and stuff them into the freezer. Hopefully I’ll have 4 kilos of frozen buds.

I want to get some bags soon but would like to have a good amount of material first to really work thru the learning curve. That crop looks like incredible. Looking forward to seeing more batches. :sunglasses:

Making the bubble hash isn’t too difficult. To quote bubbleman: If you can bake something, you can make bubble hash. It’s all about timing and temperature.

Recently found some great hash from a local event. I got a variety of them. All great. My favorite is the cold pressed hash.

A bunch of good information here so ill binge this a couple times then when the time comes, I’ll have more confidence in the process.

I was looking into the bubblebagdude machine to make thing a tad less labor intensive.
If you have any experience with it would like to hear any pro/cons using it.

Lots of people use those machines, it’ll save you 30min of your life spent mixing
Make sure to use fresh green buds! Also if you freeze dry the hash, it’ll retain more terpenes.

Nice, I’ll most likely get it then.
Thanks for the tips. :vulcan_salute:

Here is some I made a few days ago, about to make some more in a few days:

Alright I’m ready to go! Couple bags of frozen trim and buds, ice, bubble bags and time….

Kind of confused on the drying process, just let it sit out for a couple hours? Should it break apart before going in the freezer?

Pics in a couple hours hopefully
