My plants were outside by necessity as I had no room. I suggest using a SWICK bed to keep the bag moist. I am also using organic living soil in bags, 10 gallon. They love the sun.
Good luck

Looks good in here
Day 67
Unfortunately the seed run will have to be postponed as it’s going to be impossible for me go spray it everyday… But it’s okay I’ll choose another strain to do it with once I get the chance to grow indoors again.
Well I lost my car the other day, some kids rear ended me on the highway and sandwiched me (RIP he’s mom’s insurance). Hopefully I can find the time to take the bus and go see the plant in a few days, but let’s just say it’s not my top priority at the moment. I’m glad I was able to get her to the spot before. Luckily it rained yesterday.
Stay safe Overgrowers
Really sorry to hear that, hope you’re okay. This happened on the highway too?! Man that sucks.
Yeah, the car in front break from 100kmh to zero, I manage to break behind him, I looked in the mirror, saw the guy fly and already knew he was going to smash me hard. The hit was surprisingly smooth, maybe because I had a second to prepare myself. Came out of the car like nothing happened lol.
Wow brother that’s crazy. Did you hit the car in front of you after getting rear ended? Make sure you get checked out if you start to feel any latent effects from the accident like back and/or neck pain.
Yeah exactly, I made sure the cop got that right! My neck and back are already not so good, I was sure it would hurt but for now I’m good.
The wicking bed (SWICK) would give you several days between visits. Hope you get another car soon and the wreck doesn’t cause injuries.
My SB plants are bending the stems from weight, and will get topped in a few days.
Nice congrats on the colas! I forgot to mention no one in the crash got hurt. Yeah I think I saw some designs online called “self-watering pots”, I always wanted to try. But I have faith that nature will provide what it needs and that the plant will take care of itself. I also keep track of the weather, so I can guess when it’ll need some water. Like it’s going to rain tonight and the next rain is in 5 days with 70% possibility, so I’ll probably go check/water it tomorrow or the day after so I can have some peace of mind for the hot days coming.
Day 74
Well it looks like it didn’t rain much. I guess I’ll have to come water it more often with the heat that’s coming…
And here are the clones, 2 survived. I see roots but they’re not growing, I thought I’d see more action, maybe they need a bigger pot?
Hey man, I followed your topic, I hope you’re okay…
It took your clones 26 days to root, is that it?
Did you use the same planting soil? Amount of perlite/soil.
My cultivation is similar to yours and it’s also organic, I’m learning to use aloe.
Well, I’m wrong, but maybe it’s time to start with diluted nutrients, for them to start plant growth.
Yeah I’m good. I’m sure someone someday decided to curse me, so now I just live with it🤙 stuff like that always happens to me.
Yes I used the same soil. I’m not sure how much perlite there is, the soil mix already has some and I throw some more, I aim for 20-30%. I know diy basic soil recipes ask for around 30%.
The clones rooted at different rates. I’m sorry I don’t have the exact times because it’s pretty hard to know when they root in soil (next time I’m going to start using transparent cups for this exact reason). I believe you are right, they need food and more space. I transplanted them yesterday. Th pale one had a full healthy root ball but the darker one only had 1 string of root at the bottom… the pale one is also the only one that had some new growth. If I had to guess the pale one had roots after maybe 10-14 days and the other one looks like it just recently grew his root. I wish I took some pictures…
I think I might have time to flower the clones and get some pollen from them instead of the seed run. I estimate It could take 2 months before I see pollen, but next time I get a notice of visit I’ll have to put the plants at the guerrilla and abandon indoor growing completely until I’m relocated.
I’m just tuning in. Wow! What a turn of events for you. The plant looks in better health now, so I’m sure you can get some tasty tasty buds. Wish you luck and great health.
Thanks I’ll take all the luck I can get! You made me think! I actually have some Strawberry Banana bud from the store I’ve bean meaning to do a taste test/review, smoked most of it but there’s still some left. I’ll do it tonight .
This is the only strawberry banana I’ve had in my life. It doesn’t look really nice but that’s not what I’m after. The flavor is really deep and complex, I tried to isolate the strawberries and bananas but it’s like strawberry banana is its own flavor. It doesn’t look good or frosty but wow it got me so high, there is something really special and interesting about this strain.
Okay so the clones are not doing too good. I was busy/lazy and watered them with un-PHed tap water for the past 2 weeks or so.
I watered them today with the correct PH. I also added a vinegar and baking soda CO2 generator to boost them a bit. As soon as I see a bit of progress I’ll start spraying CS for a week and will flip the lights to 12/12.
Also watered the one outside. It’s looks better, but the leaf tips started to burn. This one too I watered with un-PHed water for the past 2 weeks or so.
There is zero progress with the clones…
Went to water the big one outside and wow it’s bad… I decided to cut a branch with 4 tops for 4 more attempts to clone it. I forgot to take a picture of the plant but it basically looked like this
I also said fu*k it and put everything back in the bigger closet. Let’s hope we see some progress. My co2 generator was garbage, next time I’ll try that yeast and sugar 2 bottle set up.
Clones were dipped in aloe and stuck in cups:
After an hour or so, I check and saw that 2 of the cuts lifted there head
Here’s the whole set up:
And I put the remaining of the branch in a shot glass just for fun:
