Example of high priced seeds

Dollar store glass vials dipped in ikea tealight candle wax inside a ring box. With a bow on it. And a one of a kind certificate of authenticity printed on a dot matrix printer.

For $8K that’s a steal! I bet you could run an auction and get that shit up to 15k at least!

I’ve got a couple White Cherry Truffle from Aficionado going right now. That seed run had quite a saga. I would have been so upset had I purchased a $300 pack of seeds myself and obtained those results!

I think I saw a GGG going for a few thousand. I believe it was a Chinese New Year special

Anyone remember doggie nuts seeds? Man I thought they were smoking Crack when I saw those prices. Now it’s a normal thing I swear every new pack of seeds pack is $200+.

What’s even more fuckn stupid than the prices is nobody is bringing anything new to the table its all the same recycled cookie Gelato sherb crap. I like cookies but come on there’s so many strains out there why are people only focusing on on like 20 strains.

We’re beyond it even being about the actual plants anymore.

It’s the exclusivity. Higher price = higher perceived value. And the seedbank takes a 50% cut.

As far as collectability goes, well…they do expire.

I feel like I put in more work and love on my $20 packets and I’m not saying that to toot my own horn. Half the shit is made by third parties anymore. It’s kinda like going to Emeril’s restaurant and being disappointed he doesn’t actually work there.

Think about all those “luxury” clothing brands, reselling game, limited edition street wear, stuff like supreme, kany west yeezys blabla… They sell you 250 dollars ugly af silicon sneakers, tell you is fashion and theres just 10000 pairs… People sleep on the streets just to get a piece…
We young people have no education, we were raised in a system that make us feel the necesity of consume stuff fast and superficially. We were born just to make the cash flow.

I did in the past because i thought and still thinking that not every seedbank got the elite cuts they claim to, and the ones that look to had it were charging $$$ on them. If you still growing different seedbank you will find that somebodies 300$ OG x seeds and other seedbank 70$ OG x seeds leans similar stuff then there no sense on still paying the high price…

Again with 300 dollars you can get 4 and a half 70 dollars packs.

Seed companies are fucking it up for real.

I need these! Can I pay for it in a new cryptocurrency I’m designing right now based off publicly available copies of the old Bitcoin codebase? No one uses it, but I guarantee it’s going :rocket: :crescent_moon:

Beaglebucks then.

I’d also consider interesting trades like a snowmobile or a condo in Florida.

Done! Oops… once again, too slow. :frowning:

How about a virtual condo in Florida with a NFT of a virtual snowmobile for occasional vacations back to Canada? :stuck_out_tongue:

Neat. The preview’s coming back in Czech because it’s linked from OG. Google is :eyes: us. Anyway, I’m not seeing anyone offering to sell it to me, so it probably doesn’t exist yet.

My Dad always said that in any industry, the hardest place is the middle. Be the cheap option or the expensive one, but not the mid range. I wonder if the seed companies selling their wares for an avg of $100/ pack make good money. There are a lot of $100 packs, which is a lot of money for seeds, $10 plus for a single seed is unbelievable when we step back and think of it. Can someone shed light on how these guys actually fare business wise?

Slinging seeds is far more profitable than slinging flower. A fully seeded plant can yield thousands and thousands of seeds. At $10 each you can do the math.

The hard part is finding a market

Tomato seeds are about $4/packet…so they’re doing fine. Unless you’re one of the famous well known ones though you probably aren’t making much. Bodhi is probably a millionaire.

It really depends on how many you sell. If you sell 2000 packets and profit $50 per, well damn you are having a great year. If you sell 10 that’s like some fun money.
