Federal legalization in the USA, what does the future hold for cannabis?

Where are you?

Oh just not in stores.

Vermont allows raw milk sales, but it’s limited to direct from the farm, delivery, or at a farmer’s market.

Are you in the upper valley?

I remember in MA they had raw milk cheese in trader joes.

Apparently raw milk cheese can be sold in the US, as long as it’s aged for 60 days.

ETA: And MA also has direct-from-farm sales of raw milk.

Isn’t mozzarella a raw milk cheese?

Yea, New England is pretty good about supporting direct from the farm sales.

Fresh mozz can apparently be made with either raw or pasteurized milk. I would imagine most commercially available mozz uses pasteurized milk?

Hmmm, probably right. I need to look into making some, I’d like to try.

It almost seems like some folks are here to intentionally derail this thread.
But that is only my opinion…right?

Back on topic here…
I will assume you are not willing to answer so I will also assume you do think cannabis is more dangerous that xanax.
I think that is fair given your previous response.
I personally do not.

Trying to keep stoners on topic is like trying to herd…

What was I talking about? Oh right, milk laws and the interstate commerce clause.

Definitely don’t give the cows Xanax (I’m kidding, but apparently Xanax is approved for anxiety in dogs and cats?)

FWIW I’d say benzos are more dangerous than cannabis.

It is for pets but I believe they lean to seroquel first.

Even if that means paying royalties on clones and seeds?
What if legalizing means an end to home growing?
What if it means an end to medical cannabis unless it is from a pharmacy.
What if legalization means cannabis is controlled by China (Syngenta)
There are several other things to be concerned about with legalization.
All of these concerns are genuine and some lawyers have voiced these same concerns.
To say just legalize by any means necessary is irresponsible, in my eyes anyhow.
It is foolish to think legalization is happening because it is the will of the people.
Let us not kid ourselves here legalization is all about the money and it will be controlled by the money as well.

If they have their way we will soon see what a shit show current legalization model really is.

If you think about it, if home growing is outlawed everywhere it could mean the end of OG itself.
I mean what would the purpose of a cannabis growing forum if nobody is allowed to grow their own.
But that could never ever happen right…it is simply fearmongering…

How can it be an end to home growing? Are we pretending most of us are a bunch of rule followers?

Man I really have to watch what I type, I feel you knew what I meant and are just busting my balls here.
So
Ok, fair enough but it could be the end of legal home growing.
Now I have to ask…Why vote to legalize and then go back underground so you can grow your own illegally.
To me at least, that make zero sense.
But if that is what you think you need to do…

To be fair, it’s not legal federally anywhere, and in a lot of states its still illegal and people still do it. A lot of people.

You cant even speak about these things until it happens. Every time we say something you just say well what if it is actually _______

This thread is a never ending black hole from an attention seeker. This isn’t some official thread on legalization and law. I’m sure we can get another one started where we can have actual discussions.

So you think voting for legalization that hands cannabis over the big pharma and big ag and going or staying underground to grow our own is the way forward?
I personally think that is not the best way to move forward.
