I researched that a bit… and there were no facts or specific instances to prove it…it was based on people who were in drug-treatment programs for addiction to Heroin and Pot who CLAIMED they had not used anything else…
The testing dispensaries have to go through is stringent…
The only thing I could see would be anti-drug groups intentionally lacing weed (not at dispensaries) to try to say ‘‘see! This is why it should stay illegal’’…
It’ll be a free for all I guess, may even go international when it’s legalized. some will get harmed, new users might get harmed, old users might get prosecuted and harassed for their ways
But if its one step closer to buy a carton of joints, I’m for it. Just I get pisses off when weeds legal in some state and ends up having an accident on weed cause he’s too high
The major companies already have their plan set for marijuana and big tobaccos killed before
Biden is trying to get it removed from schedule1…has been for over a year- but has been blocked repeatedly. Needs to be on the Ballot… but Congress couldn’t get the necessary 60 votes…
It is fake weed. I have seen it. Last year a friend passed out after smoking synthetic weed. They tested him he had fentanyl in his system. This could happen to anybody getting anything black market. I know someone that actually got busted selling the stuff. He was young he didn’t know the difference he didn’t know it was fake weed.
I think it’s become so common because sprinkling a little fent is an easy way to make a cheap product seem more potent. What I don’t get is why they started mixing it in uppers like coke. I know someone who passed out and never woke up after one line of spiked coke. At some point I just wonder if it’s some kind of chemical warfare, whether between drug gangs turning people off of their competitor’s product or foreign actors just wanting to see americans get hurt. We live in interesting times, as they say
Seems the war on drugs (heroine) is what gives people a bad time and causes problems for the cannabis community. And those people who willingly and intentionally break the law and attempt to cause mayhem, mischief, and mistrust.
I think it’s ok to eat Space Brownies again…we know how you miss them, we do too . It’s high time there was a pot brownies national holiday ! Let’s get THC descheduled ASAP…I swear this will be the best Thanksgiving ever…Canna pumpkin pie, need I say more?
I was thinking about this…
In all honesty, I think I may quite smokin’ weed if all I could get was a pack of pre-rolls.
I really love a freshly broken bud, givin’ it a sniff, letting the wife have a sniff…
A pack of joints, I am afraid would take the pleasure outta smoking…at least for me it would.
My buddy unrolls his cigars because he says they are filled with stems.
They are too, I have seen it first hand.
Who the fuck unrolls their cigars…LOL…my buddy
Anyway
The whole thought of corporate cannabis has that stemmy sorta feel to it.
You may call me a snob if you must, but I don’t really like to smoke mids ect.
I am getting old, if I put smoke in my lungs now, it better be top shelf.
Sometimes I won’t even smoke weed I grew from seed.
If I just don’t care for it, I give it away or make hash.
If you have the good stuff laying round, the mids will just sit there, even if it tastes decent.
If it tastes really good, I don’t mind smokin’ it then…
Medicine is only obtained through a doctor.
Will you get a paper prescription from your doctor, take it to the pharmacy to get this?
I stated back in 2012 that CBD will be controlled by big pharma.
There is a patent on CBD as a medicine, just waiting for legalization. epidiolex
Once CBD is a federally approved drug it will only be available through doctors and given on a prescribed basis only.
Meaning you will only get it at the pharmacy.
Making CBD will be a felony aka Analog drug.
The drug company has spent millions to bring this to market.
Do you think they will just let you make it in your home?
Do you think they will throw some money at the issue?
Are we allowed to make any of our own drugs?
They had wax/concentrate listed as an analog some years ago.
I knew a kid, who it ruined his whole college life by getting busted with a few dabs.
He was 4 years in and had to change his major, the job he was seeking would no longer be available to him.
Dabs were a felony at first is what I am saying.
So my point here is…Will medical look the same after Federal legalization gets rolling?
Why would anyone want CBD to be a federally approved drug when it is already a federally legal substance…I think you have some misinformation there Shaggy…
I remember having a similar argument with a guy (I should say kid really, he couldn’t have been older than 25) in the 70s. He came to my pot farm (federally licensed(taxes )) and was this huge proponent of the “underground”, save the people from the man. I kept trying to tell him the laws weren’t as he thought but the guy just wouldn’t listen. Anyway, he proceeded to inform me that he didn’t care and would continue to engage in his " own agenda with crime". Clearly he wasn’t actually that interested in cannabis, just his own agenda.
