First Post; My Panama Red is hanging

A few weeks ago I mentioned how the Soil at a particular grow-site, was very Sandy and had a great history of growing Larger plants.

A fellow member sent me a soil texture chart and that set all this in motion.

As it turns out when the Clay Layer had finally settled and the top
Layer of water hd cleared, there was only a 1-2cm layer of clay.

Attached below are the Final image of how it/they settled and how it fit when applied to the chart.

The Soil in this location, near Lake Huron, is on the border of a Loamy Sand or a Sandy Loam. The Loamy Sand is a more nutritious environment as the Loam will support life and nutrients more than Sand can.

The high percentage of Sand was a real surpriseā€¦

( measurements in the soil, were proportional to the Solids onlyā€¦ no water included in measurings. The measured height of solids was divided accordingly)

Tried the Pine Tar Kush and very nice flavor, you really are subtle with the nutes. Sweet pleasant bud. If someone handed me your buds and me not knowing the story I wouldnā€™t believe it was 100% natural fed soil mix grown indoors. Not outside in Ontario in farm soil. Very impressive

Iā€™m Blushing @SativaKid
Its also some nice insight from your end. That plant was hardly nurtured. Bi-Weekly Tea sessions. Monthly amendments. H2O as reqā€™d

I bonged and vaped your Cloudwalker this morning and am amazed that it was grown in Great Lakes soil. So tasty! Those that donā€™t live in the region donā€™t realize that around here most outdoor growers dig a huge hole and use the clay soil as a pot. And many bury a heater wire to help it in the Spring and Fall.

I just got a laugh at the picture. Itā€™s a little obvious bright green against a pale looking Southern Ontario late Fall day.

A heating wire in the ground is forward thinking for sure. But When I cut the Hond x Pan on Nov 11, there was not much left in our reduced exposure to the Sun it seemed. ( ie: less than 10hrs of light )
So glad you enjoyed Breakfast in style

My neighbor that lives 4 houses down does this as Iā€™m told. They also said his hole that he dug was 4 foot x 4 foot x 20 foot long. Heā€™s an urban legend in Amherstburg.

After comparing your Pine Tar Kush and the Machupi I say the PTK wins.
