I moved the FDW and Mephisto Blood Orange Haze into the 2x2 under the HLG100 4000K now that the Jew Gold 1974 seeds plants are done and drying.
Now it’s 24/0 until I have to up-pot the 4 solo-cups

Alright I’m gonna watch this. Heard of the FL “ditch” legend in my teens. Mysterious self cultivated plants that are wild growing. I’ve always thought it may be referred to as ditch but grown in optimum condition would it be something quality. Nope not always, schwagg Mexican seed is still a schwagg plant of low potency. I learned this lesson from my first trial plant, which was smart before using premium genetics.

Not necessarily. Brick seed grown well can be quite impressive.

I will agree there’s exceptions but generally most commercial middies in the hood wouldn’t favor the chance of the seed being quality so it’s a real shot in the dark. Definitely was good for any noob to get their feet wet under before using better quality seed or buying so those aren’t messed up or ruined, but these days cheap seed that’s quality isn’t hard to come by like days of the mid 90’s, where either you knew someone OR thankfully Emery seed was the only option to mail order than physically going to A-dam and bringing back from the breeder banks there. It would have been about 2 years more if NOT for Emery to get any quality seed until I became trusted in the IRC #smokers_lounge crew
Yes there’s certainly a time component. I grew brick before I could get quality seed. From England.

Well most likely 90%chance its from jamaica. Most likely sativa. Lambs bread origin. Im still here some guy found 3.5 million in cocaine and turned it in lol… But yeah jamaica was responsible for most of the weed in fl. Then on to n.y.city… thru 70’s-9/11 jamaica 80% refered to as yard weed or brown… Then mexican an columbian took over around same time loud (krippie ) came on scene… From my ole memory’s… Lol

That’s was going to be my guess as well…the Caribbean region The Crippy has been identified as Chem D x Paki Blue, so no not Mexican. I’m working on a line that combines all the best pinene that Crippy is famous for being known as.

It’s interesting you mention Maui, because I just found an alpha pinene Maui Wowie. Think you got that backwards, the Mexican, Colombian and Jamaican are before indoor growing was preferable. I lived in the S FL during early 90’s and I heard all kinds of stories about being legendary experiences of the Gold’s Panama red Jamaican redhair and Lambsbread of course but I never saw any. Northern Lights, Skunk and Crippy is what everyone had or commercial brick. I’ll bet some of the brick came from the islands, cause there’s was plenty of times the 50 bags came from Jamaican’s and I know they don’t play games with their ganja but no way of knowing what. Furthermore seed tends to be special when only a few are found as opposed to loaded to the hilt.
@OriginalDankmaster96 . yes thats correct… Its only after 9/11 when crippy took off… And yes most early american crippy was crossed with skunk. While canada was northern lights. An white widow… I love the 80-90’s heehee

That would be 1991 my friend, so it’s before 9/11 happened. Every surfer then knew another to get Crippy from.
