I decided to check trichomes today. It’s still way too early but I wanted a look anyway.
All clear. No cloudy, no amber, but this:
Purple resin heads. Never seen that before.

This I’ve seen with other plants but that makes a lot of sense. The difference between pink and blue hydrangeas based on acidifying soil.

Great to see ya using some natural inputs here this is the same input as WSCA a KNF input … mix a dab of epsom salt and you have more than enough cal/mag for quite a few runs!

I’m in Ontario Canada and things are now legal, within reason.
I’ve been growing using mostly the same methods for a very long time now. Getting old!

I usually swear by the castings. Right now I’m trying to see what happens if I stick with the pure blend pro. Working well so far but I’m keeping the Nutes at half strength and the NPK needs are being met but the cal/mag not so much.

After adding full strength ferts they’ve perked up a little. Still somewhat discoloured, but looking much happier.
Still on the daily banana hunt but nothing I can’t keep up with.
Here is the California orange bud. She smells like orange candy. I’m getting excited. 2-3 weeks to go!

Day 47
Everything is moving along nicely. The previous calcium deficiency has made the middle shishkaberry a bit ugly but no spread and stacking well. All trichs are still clear. Although there are some purple ones
An overview -
Shishkaberry 1 - getting very top heavy.
Shishkaberry 2
This pheno is less indica leaning than the other. I expect it won’t yield as well as the previous.
California Orange - most of it is hiding behind the fan. She is the prettiest one at the ball.
