My plan is to clone the NL and WW. The NL to make more plants for numbers just in case. The WW to see if it’s male or female. I’m going to take my chances with the purple spades.
It’s just about time to fire up the second half of my veg cab.
The final tally:
89g - California Orange Bud
83g - Shishkaberry 1
105g - Shishkaberry 2
14g - Popcorns/samples
Total - 291g
This was grown under a Mars Hydro TSL2000 which is a true 300 watt light.
This gives me .97g per watt, just a hair under 1g per watt.
I’m very pleased with the result. I was hoping/expecting 8oz and ended up with near 10oz.
So there you go, you can grow good quantities of quality cannabis under these lights.
This being said, the manufacturer claims this light can produce 1.5g per watt. This run was far from smooth, and there are heavier yielding strains out there
I think 1.5g per watt is an attainable goal, but everything would have to be perfect perfect for that to be the case.
So, you have one happy Foreigner here, sitting on his laurels with a grin.
Oh, and I timed my veg cycle almost perfect too, I think I can flip to 12/12 again in a week!
The preliminary smoke is very promising. The good flavours are starting to come out.
The shishkaberry has a muted grape/earthy flavour and the California orange has a lemony chocolate/coffee orange flavour.
Since I’ve got the day all to myself I decided to flip to 12/12. Woo day 1!
Did my final transplants. Fiddled with the timer to make sure I did it right.
I’ve got a female white widow, a female northern lights, and a female querkle/ace of spades. There’s one left that’s has yet to reveal itself. Looking for a male for chucking.
The cloning machine is still in use but visible roots on all of them.
I’ll post some real pics later but this is the stem of the querkle/spades. She’s a big one.
The WW has been vegged for 8 weeks.
Got some poor germ rates so popped some different beans when I saw how few plants I had. The new plants are 2 weeks behind and have just shown sex. I decided to flip as soon as they showed.
Had a minor mishap with my timer but all sorted now.
Here is the pic of the purple spade. I topped her and missed and ended up with a FIM. She seemed to stall a bit but then I figured out she was putting out so many tops - it’s a lot for her to handle. She’s just fine and I like her structure:
I’m pleased to report that the final plant in question is a male - exactly what I was hoping for as I only have room for three full sized plants anyway.
