Just some fun shots of the EDH today. All 3 plants are structurally similar but are showing some variation in bud structure.
Plant 1:
Plant 2:
Plant 3:
A full canopy shot:
And something with the flash just for fun:
These were flipped on Valentine’s Day and I haven’t really been keeping a running count (6-7 weeks?) but still a hell of a ways to go.
Cheers for looking and all the best.
EPIC with a capitol Faith No More!!!
Thanks man.
I think they all look nice but plant 3 has those crazy elongated sativa buds that I’m not familiar with but I think are quite cool.
Beautiful buds! IThey’re looking great so far. Still getting a lot of haze and citrus smells?
Hey man thanks.
Still a lot of citrus but the haze seems to have taken over.
It’s starting to smell in here but nothing like “traditional” weed. Very nice. People go what’s that smell instead of it reeks like weed in here
Yikes! My younger bro is going to cancun next week. I need a tropical vacation soon.
It’s all gang related with some tourists in the crossfire which is why they don’t want you to have anything to do with drugs.
So I decided the bud structure on this lady is too interesting to let it slide into oblivion:
Also I’m lazy as shit today. I couldn’t be assed to move plants in and out of the tent. So I invented a new technique that you may only use with my express written permission:
A quick application with a qtip:
Let it sit for an hour, blow off any excess, done.
Cheers and have a lovely day.
Having been caught in a zipper before I can say that has serious potential to hurt a plant, even for weeks after getting it unstuck.
Cool techniques!
I hear you. Ouch.
I did bruise the stems just a little bit but no big deal.
LOL I wonder why I did not invent this. Will apply for permission to use eventually.
It’s funny how things work out.
When I first germinated this grow I wanted some SSSDH, Malana, Everyday Haze, and Maui Mango haze.
You can see I was determined to do a haze run
What I ended up with was Everyday Haze and the Maui Mango Haze.
It’s a good thing I didn’t get so much variety because the Everyday Haze is a monster taking up WAY more space than I’d anticipated. I’ve never grown anything like her.
I’m very glad with the way it turned out because the Maui Mango Haze is really nice too, but not as hazy as I’d expected.
Overall I’m very excited and happy so far about this grow. Touch wood.
It’s just funny…best laid plans.
This is why I’m over-over planning my indoor sativa run.
You’re STILL kicking ass AND chewing bubble-gum so I’m seeing you as a
Thanks man. I was most concerned about having to cut her back repeatedly but she didn’t skip a beat.
Snip snip snip
So I’m having an issue I was hoping to get some thoughts and feed back on.
So I have 3 Everyday hazes and one of them is doing this wicked foxtail thing:
The old back of the hand test tells me it’s not heat stress. The lack of bleaching tells me it’s not light stress. In fact, it’s at the edge of the light where it would be least powerful.
For reference, here’s a bud from a different plant that’s right in the centre of the light:
It’s possibly there’s some morphological variation between the two plants but what’s weirding me out is that the lowers of the plant that’s stretching look like this:
The difference between the uppers and lowers is what’s confusing me.
Is it just the plants natural expression and I should let it ride? Or is there something I’m missing?
I’m not opposed to just cutting them off but I’d like to figure out what’s going on before I do that.
Thoughts anyone?
@lefthandseeds
Cheers man thanks for the input. It’s just so foreign and weird looking.
I had a Sweet Skunk leaning Skunkberry from Peak Seeds like that. Stretched like hell with weird long pistily buds. No bag appeal in the end (meh) but it smoked and yielded very well. Can’t wait to see how that one turns out
