Foreigner Goes Legal

I think it’s a sativa thingy , happened to me with a Purple Malawi, nothing to worry about … beer3|nullxnull

Totally normal for sativas. I think it seems to be especially common for plants of Colombian descent like hazes. OT haze probably foxtails like crazy.

When I vacationed in Jamaica some years ago, I got some good herb from the Rastas and their stuff didn’t even have ‘buds’. They just clipped off the long foxtails and bagged it. Big calyxes too… it was pretty cool. AFAIK Jamaican is purported to be of Colombian descent.

I agree. Very small sometimes. But they love the shrooms.

Thanks guys and cheers.

I’ll let it ride. If these crazy long finger buds keep growing taller I might run into some light issues and need to trim them back but I’ll cross that bridge later.

Is this an expression of the OT that you mentioned or am I way off base?

No those things get big. I did his black Lebanon it was one solid bud from the bottom up. They will stop growing in a little while. I had to crimp them over for a little bit. And then they just raised up. I was having problems with nutrition I didn’t get a good finish. But other than that I think you’ll be happy.

Could be. They’re BX1, so there should be some OT haze leaning phenos in there.

This has led me down a bit of an OT haze google rabbit hole :joy:

I guess we will find out if/when it takes 20 weeks to finish!

No way it’ll take 20, BUT that’s a good point. If it takes longer to finish than the others then comparatively it’s probably also more like OT than the others.

Thats what she said?

Either way it leans I’m stoked. I’ve pollinated them both so I’ve got my bases covered.

Now that I’ve got foxtails on the brain I see them everywhere!

Plant 3

What has been seen cannot be unseen.

Cheers and all the best.

I think the plant with the foxtailing looks similar to a Honduras Breeze that @hush grew out:

Turned out great :+1: definitely interested to see how you like this one (or the Ms. Foreigner report) when all is said and done.

I think there just might be some similarities there :+1:

Still a long way to the finish line but I’ll be trying this one for sure :joy:

I couple more pics because I was in the tent anyway:

I should really wear long sleeve shirts. My arms smell great after a little tent work.

Cheers.

Upon what I read, if there are only in the top they’re bad and caused by heat stress (lamp too close), if they are in the whole plant (lower buds), as yours, it’s genetic, nothing to worry about … beer3|nullxnull

They are all over. I’m learning to embrace the foxtails :joy:

Have a lovely weekend

My last crop one if my OG kush foxtail like a bastard, I had never seen a kush do that, just south American sativas mostly. The smoke amd stone is awesome though :metal:

My silver mountain did it too but not to the same extent. I’m pretty sure it was a sativa leaning pheno.
