I will eat bugs as opposed to starving but I refuse to pay for them. 🥸
Crispy snacks.
better than kiwis , i guess
The grasshoppers were pretty good actually. Weird but good.
Anyway, I’m back now and travel weary and not going to do much today. I’ll do a full travel pic dump when I’m up to it.
So I don’t remember if I mentioned it, but the day I was packing to leave last week I got an email from the condo people saying they were coming in to do the drains. This is not so unusual. But I had 4 plants hanging dry in the shower. Fortunately they were already dry and so I took them off the line and did this:
They were already dry anyway but the scrambling when I’ve got a million things to do before I leave was annoying.
I may shuck some today but I might also do nothing.
It’s nice to be home.

What is this strange fellow doing with my cello?
(Yours was better)
A bedfellow for your cello. Fixed

Rather local vocals tho, for such far out solos
I go acapella, fella.
You swore that you would never tell anyone.
I didn’t know you were going to Mexico…I would have sent you an Antarctica travel guide.
I did it. I didn’t want to. But I did it anyway.
Here is my very fancy shucking setup:
And this is what 10 days of veg returns in seeds:
It’s not that many.
Really it should be almost double that amount. Due to time constraints I had to pull them a bit early and an extra week would have made a big difference in maturing some of the rest. I just didn’t have it.
Pulling out all the immature seeds was a real pain in the ass.
