I was a lucky receiver of some of the POK azad beans from @firehead. They’re stored in the ‘special’ section of my collection…looking forward to growing them out for sure
And I also picked up a $1 monarch climbing fern from the Canadian tire of Australia, Bunnings. Thought the little pot was cool for germinating too lol
They have Canadian tire in Australia? I didn’t know that.
Of sorts it’s really comparable to home depot I suppose. There is a Costco in north Brisbane but I’ve yet to shop there, and in no rush to really.
Man I hate Costco. Just an unpleasant experience all around for me.
The Haffa (which I’m out of by the way) has gotten really good reviews and I say run it! If you’ve got a long flowering climate even better.
Mrs Herb has been and the review was lots of stuff, cheap fuel more cons than pros mostly though.
I’ll look at growing one outdoors in a 50L airpot I have and a few indoors. It’s on the run list and looking forward to list for sure
I have a cob of it sitting on my table that I’m waiting for the right moment to open.
African style cured cob??! Good god man!! I’d imagine it would elevate the haffa haze to a psychedelic experience going by the genetics
Yes that’s the one.
I’d think so too.
I had a cob of something else and it was very nice and very different. Like brick weed, but the best brick weed ever. With different effects. Stonier for sure anyway.
It’s taking a lot of willpower to save for the right time.
So the water soak germ test seems to be a success:
But I got bored halfway through and decided I couldn’t wait. I figure I’m going to run all my own crosses this time anyway so along with a few other things these all went into dirt, some of which didn’t yet have any tails but it was only a few days so I’m not too concerned.
I’ve decided to retire the AK88 x BT/a5haze/thai because I just didn’t like the feel of the mother as I was shucking the seeds. Oh well can’t win them all.
So I planted everything, tails or no tails and we will see what happens in the next week:
Cheers all.
My apologies if it’s been previously discussed, but, would you mind pointing me in the direction of a good thread about cob curing?
I don’t know if it’s the best one but it’s the best one I could find:
Alright things are moving here. Got a few little sprouties and all looks good so far. I’m curious to see if they all come up. I have a feeling they will:
I germinate in the dark so they’ll green up when I put them under lights which will be soon.
Happy weekend.
The Ganja God, Baby Billy Ray, only gives you as much as you can handle. Best of luck with your starts @Foreigner !
@MissinBissin you’re being called!!!
@Trimeresurus I’ve been cranking out some Cobbs for a few years now.
Its a process that gets easier each time you do it.
Here is a Modern take on producing it, without sailors…
ps. I do Not use the Sushi Bamboo roller anymore… once you de-stemmed buds get laid down, its like stuffing a big joint into a Parchment doobie. With the Loose ends Folded into the roll, to seal the ends once its shape is defined.
Torque is the answer, once the parchment is wrapped 1x around the ganja. Pulling away from yourself, with the loose end, while Compressing the contents and pulling the Parchment roll, towards yourself. You will feel it compress. Relax, move over 2” and repeat. Back and forth a couple times; and you will have a heavily compressed tube; done

Puff Puff Pass @Pigeonman
I just did this one yesterday for @HolyAngel, taking 7month cured-bud and cobbing it for an Xmas surprise…tba
