Second clone run attempt is showing signs of life after 7 days. Just 1 showing roots so far!
Turning 2 of these sorbet clones into moms. The rest are just for experiments…grafting here I come!

Getting ready to prep some more mapito.
Rockwool/foam 75/25%
- dice up foam
- add to rockwool chunks
- soak in 4.5ph
- check ph after a few hours.
- dump water and resoak
- prep .8ec 5.6ph feed
- dump water and squish mapito in crate
- pour 3-4 litres of feed i made and let sit
- rinse and repeat pouring feed until she matches what’s going in
Now seeing im just making a small batch for 18 clones that ill be vegging this will go fast. Having to prep enough mapito for my crates in a 4x2 table takes roughly 100gallons in total…pain in the ass, but its a 1 time thing.

Adjusting feed for future runs, she is fading just a tad too fast. Very happy with the size of the nugs though. She’s coming down next week sometime, and going to do a 48hr lights off this run.

Mg issue has been held back. Tomorrow is a quick foliar spray to address a Fe issue on 1 plant. May need to bump up the N a tad…but will check tomorrow again.
I’ve decided to do the trellis closer to the end of stretch…she has a long ways to go. It’s going to be painful…as once I’m setup she locked in.

Day 60 - Sorbet
Learned quite a bit on this grow and next run hoping to do even a better job. She’s coming down next week sometime!
Day 12 - Coffee Cake/Bluemoon/Sorbet
No issues…still delaying the trellis here a bit. Tomorrow I’m cleaning all lines, and doing some lst to remove lower bud sites a tad. Nothing drastic, letting them do all the work. Still some slight Mg issues, but looks to be under control now.

Day 63 - Sorbet
Last flood for these girls…going to give them 2days…then this time around turning the lights off for 48hrs. Fade was too soon…but i’m very happy with my second run.

Well here is my trellis skills…ill get better lol
I use Maxibloom from weeks 3-4…but since it’s next to impossible to get any I will have to match the feed with a bunch of fertilizers I have. I’ll post what I come up with if anyone else enjoys using it.

Autopots are now moving to the following feed! I’ve almost ran out of my Maxibloom feed for weeks 3-4 so forced to mix a little special blend up to hit those same ratios.

Harvest time tomorrow…very excited to see my girls and how they look.
This was taken yesterday before her 48hr lights out attempt. It’s going to be like Christmas for me tomorrow when I open her up.
So I found a tincture I made over 1yr ago and dumped her on 1 cup of sugar.
Dried and blended up to make powdered sugar. Just dosed 3g in a cup of coffee and couldn’t be happier right now.
My best guess is 250-300mg is where I’m most satisfied based on store bought edibles. I’d peg this sugar around 200mg mark.

Can’t wait to jar this up! Have a few buds left out to dry quick…I can’t wait.
Tomorrow I start to wash out the Mapito, clean the tent and if I’m not too lazy start the next run.

Looks excellent Mapito it’s been a few years since I dabbled in it , what did you use to make your medium store bought or homemade. I’m sitting on about 12 large bags of growpito mix that I probably will never use only problem it’s at the very front of a over full 53 ft sea container. Come summer if anyone has interest in it let me know .

Homemade mapito. The foam i chop up into random size cubes. 20-25% foam rest is Rockwool.
No luck finding pre-made in Canada. Very cheap to make

I tried to source the same foam they use…Reticulated polyurethane foam. But what I use gets the job done.

What medium do you use now? Any reason for not using mapito anymore?

Pro mix is what I’m using now not really sure why I quit other than the forgiveness of dirt. With dirt if a plant gets dry it will bounce back mapito not so much that and ph down of my water to keep plants happy in it as with dirt no tweeking of the water needed.
I do miss the speed that the plants grow using it though.
