They’re aphids, at least it’s an easy pest to combat, spray neutral detergent and the next day there won’t be any left alive.

Last time I battled them I would rotate through a couple of different sprays to knock ‘em down. Insecticidal soap and neem oil work well. Strip as much leaf off as the plants can handle and spray diligently for a few weeks. Consistency is the key to this battle :grinning::metal:

Edit - Mechanical options will also work to knock down the population. I would shop vac parts of the plant that had high populations of aphids. Beats plants up a bit but so does most of the options.

Another option - instead of spraying stuff on your plants, get some good water soluble silica and soil drench with it.
It will make your plants tough for insects to peirce and chew on.

Yeah but not before it’s time to harvest!
He needs an immediate solution; the plants won’t have time to develop any resistance at this stage in the game with bugs already present

When is harvest planned?

Nematodes and spray bro, you’ve got this. I’ve gotten both from indoor farmer, Charlie and the boys are some of the best in Canada imo and super fast shipping too. If you need help on which products hmu. I know the safers end all says it kills aphids as I’m looking at it now, but the canna guard nematodes will handle them too

@TopShelfTrees1 Pease tell me more about the nematodes for aphids. I have been battling these fucks for the last two months.

I have tried Castile soap, Johnnys one n done, and lately I have been using Flying skull nuke em. They seem to work just ok if I apply every other day, but they keep coming back. I was spraying every other day, maybe that was my problem. I need to do it everyday? For fuck sake

I released 1500 ladybugs in the room last night.

With ladybugs and nematodes you should be good. You water the nematodes into your substrate and they will eat the larva and critters in there. And will also keep other crap at bay (thrips etc.) then the ladybugs will seek and find the ones on stalks , leaves etc. and you can even just spot treat if you see any as well with sprays like pyrethrin etc. you got this. :facepunch:t2:

And yes when spraying for aphids every day is ideal

Will it kill the ladybugs ?

I think so. I will give the lady bugs some time to do their work before I spray anything on them. I hope the ladybugs reproduce. Some were banging this morning. :eggplant: :peach:

Said nope. But try dr.zymes eliminator (not sure what that is) also said The one and done should work fine though instead of investing more money etc. as it will kill soft body insects just like the others do

Haha nice! That’s the ideal situation

Thanks @TopShelfTrees1 . The one n done burned my plants. And I think the dr. Zymes is similar to the Flying skull Nuke em. Citric acid.
The nuke em definitely kills the aphids on contact without harming the plant. But I wasn’t applying it everyday.
I will give it a few days to see what happens.
