Iā€™d assume it should work as long as you make it smell proof. My general rule when smuggling for our family vacation in summer is I hide it in the food in our car. So you could send yourself a package with dutch foods, I guess. There are a couple of general rules when smell proofing that I asked adhere:

  1. Pack as shortly before travel as possible. Smell tends to get through virtually everything over time, so keeping the travel time short is key.
  2. Wrap thoroughly.
  3. Then seal the whole pack with some kind of fat. Thatā€™s actually inspired by the Howard Marks tales of Pakistan. There they sealed every block of hash in foil, put it in a tin, sealed the tin, put the tin in a slightly larger tin, filled the room between both with pure fat and sealed the larger tin again. I adapted that for family vacations: we carry a basket with some foods we canā€™t get on the destination. I use nutella (a german chocolate cream that comes in a glas, like the ones for jam or honey. So I seal the nordle (get it?) In several layers of foil, wrap it tight, take off the lid of the glass, cautiously peel off the seal, sink the nordle-wrapper into the cream (the cream is like 40% fat or so), glue the seal back on and screw the lid back on. Then I put it between the other foods.

So Iā€™d advise to purchase a few holland-typical foods, get something like Nutella (something with high fat percentage) and send that all home as a kind of care package with your stuff sunk in the chocolate cream or similar.

I only have experience smuggling small amounts of hashish. in a candy bag. hash on the same dimensions as the different candy. double wrap well and just throw it in the middle. put candy in the suitcase. thatā€™s how it worked for me

For the munchies I can HIGHLY recommend Vegan Junk Food Bar | VEGAN TAKE OVER . They have locations in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Barcelona and Kƶln.

Iā€™m not even vegan but that was one of the best meals I ever had in my life.
Amazing unique flavors Iā€™ve never ever tasted in my life.
And they serve CBD drinks.

I ate until I couldnā€™t anymore, and then ate some more.
Lovely music, nice and swift service.
Very beautiful interior design.
Great atmosphere.

Very clever, I imagine you could smuggle big slabs of hash inbetween slabs of marzipan packaged the same way.

The dark hash could have a label ā€œchocolate marzipanā€.

Keeping it all cold in a frigobox with icepacks also lessens the smell a lot.

Iā€™ll have to check that place out, only passed by a couple of times, one of them is close by. Which of the stores were you at?

@Rogue : Iā€™m highly carnivorous, but as you are telling the history, I am wanting to try it.

donā€™t think it will work your way. you can always try. but I actually smuggled a few balls of hash into Thailand in a bag like the one above 15 years ago. I was still young and brash then. if they caught me with that i would be probably still stuck there

For me I always stop off at The Doors (it was my first ever coffee shop). Buy a small old school strain, have 1 smoke and then head off.
On my list would then be The Dolphin (they used to have a weed by the same name that knocked my socks off).
The Greenhouse did the best toasted sandwich I had.
Barneyā€™s Lounge used to be a nice place to chill. Near Rembrandt sq. Their G13 X Haze was good.
Club Media is one I intend to try next time around. They have some of the Sensi Seed strains on the menu.
Should be out that way myself in the coming weeks

Some of the things I would love to see some day (and some of the reasons I joined OG).

Seeds: The ability to share seed stock, trade seed stock or buy commercial seed stock in groups (splitting the cost)

Growing: Inspirational pictures, growing tips, Grow diaries of commercial strains.

Breeding: The ability to distribute 1 seed run amongst a group of trusted breeders, to share, document and enable a better understanding of the phenotypes, without one single location having to home too many plants. Thus reducing peoples risks.

OG has done a great job on most of what I list above, but we can always ramp it up another level

And lastly, the big one, which I appreciate will probably need a changing in the laws before we see it:
Meeting fellow breeders and smokers from on here. Sharing a meal, a smoke, cuttings/seeds/product. In person! without fear of prosecution!

Itā€™s been 20+ years since I was in Amsterdam.

Opposite central station there was smokies, central and future coffee shops, next to future thereā€™s a tourist information board, you can find the top 10 rated coffee shops etc, lots of canna related information in it.

They can arrange a hotel or board for you, iirc if thereā€™s a charge for it.

Itā€™s a great city to visit, have a good time.

Whatā€™s up fellas?
I have been perfecting my wood skills and finally made a rolling tray that suits my needs.

This is the test model and I like it, well ballanced when loaded, can be passed to a nerby friend and just fits your legs when sitted.

Still need to make the 2nd groove for another smaller grind I have, a 5mm deep between 2 slots and a flush gap on the left side of the big slot to flush weed and tabacco.

After that some bright finnish to bring the curves up.

Would look lovely in a walnut/maple split.

Build a perfectly fitting lid (whilst the tray is loaded) and I will be REEEALLY impressed

I am waiting to get some different wood boards to try a better look, but pine is good to try, it is my 1st one and I messed up here and there, small things to be corrected in future.

No, for me a lid while loaded is a mistake because the grinder and grinder brushes are really high, I can make the brushes shorter but the brinder is too tall for a upper lid, that would be a upside down wooden box.

What I will do is carving 2 cup grooves and unloaded you can turn it upside down and looks like a regular tray.
