Last night’s pic of a 91 bud. Day 72… mostly cloudy but I didn’t notice any amber. Figure another week at the planned 80 I should be in the window.
Iv been ill, virus going through the house since mid last week. One at a time. I had a rough two days unable to eat or sleep. Been a rough month… sorry for slow updates and responses.
So, a thread here had grabbed my attention. Bud washing. I had planned to do so with plain water. Should I add anything?
Last time I did it, I used lemon juice and baking soda in one water bucket and then just fresh water in the second bucket. People also use diluted hydrogen peroxide and R.O water.
When I did bud wash, it was from an outdoor grow and the bucket did look a bit gross after everything was washed. Glad I did it
I’m having a rough time currently, tough to keep up in the grow room. I will be harvesting the 3x3 with Cap Junky and Chem 91 this weekend. Then I’m going to let it sit empty till my ganja elf and I feel better and can take on a full room again.
Just keeping moms healthy as I can while finishing up the 4x4, which is early in flower.
Considering I have mites I’ll be washing this harvest in my mixing tote after I fill a reservoir tomorrow. I plan just plain water to wash away anything I can.
I will also be trimming low on the CJ in 4x4 and some defoliating above the trellis, and spray the hell out of those plants while I still can.
Really sorry to hear this @GCBudz and I know the feeling all too well, need to chat? Hmu ANYTIME. For real, I’ve had others do this for me at times and it has proven extremely helpful. Well that sucked. I was really ill, tested a few times for Covid but came up negative. My doc had me get chest x-rays looking for pneumonia but also negative. I have/had a bad case of bronchitis that wouldn’t let me lay down, and coughing spells where I was passing out. I’m feeling better every day. I appreciate the well wishes very much…
The harvest last weekend didn’t happen, but lights were unplugged for half the week. My helper got in and did a harvest on the 91 with a quick trim. The Cap Junky tonight and tomorrow.
Not a very good looking bunch of 91 buds, browned leaves and foxtailing. I learned my lesson allowing the plants to grow into the lights.
I believe the next run in this tent will be a tropicanna cherry, two t1000 and a rudeboi og. See which cuts will stick around from those.
The 4x4 with Cap Junky are looking good, but need a shave down low. I’ll try to get in there this weekend.
I haven’t indulged in a few weeks obviously, and still can’t but I have a few candies put away I’m looking to sample soon.
Thanks for the updates on the testers, y’all are killing it with very healthy looking plants. Can’t wait to see them flowering.
Damn! Sorry to hear this @GCBudz I too JUST had a bad health scare/eye opener the last 3 weeks. My babies have also been neglected but I’m a lot better than I was and finally able to lift heavy stuff and move them around and my trays , shelves etc. really hope all is well now and things are looking up. Appears we both just went through a lil hell. Respect
Just realized you said Rudeboi OG! I’ll definitely be watching that one closely it’s something I’ve ALWAYD wanted to grow. @Vagabond_Windy recently killed and has me even more stoked to find her one day and grow out. Like @Coda said, nothing comes before your health, and you’ve got a great group rooting for you as well. Keep your head up
Here’s the 4x4, I forgot to record the date I flipped but let’s go with 9/1. I’m sitting here trimming up under the trellis tonight.
Rolled up a couple CJ doobies, that stuff smokes so smooth compared to anything in the jars currently. I was able to catch a buzz finally, and it feels great. Giving me motivation to get caught up in here.
The 3x3 has been harvested completely and the 2x CJ is sitting on trays drying out a bit before filling brown lunch bags and going in the mini fridge. The 2x 91 was bagged today.
The 3x3 will see the 2x T1000, 1x Tropicanna Cherry and 1x Rudeboi OG this next run. Cooler weather run that I hope will bring out the color a few are known for.

I was gifted the RudeBoi OG with the other cuts as a surprise, wasn’t expecting it. Gotta run it… I’m sure it’ll be good and I’ll have a hard time keeping 5 moms around.
