GC flowers Cap Junky and Chem 91

Story as i understand it, it’s an s1 of the Josey Wales cut. also as i’v been told this plant is a somewhat rare expression coming out of those s1 beans.

I’ll try to answer the smell question later… i’m not very good at that to be honest (smoker) so i usually dont take much notice. But it is loud…

@Ottafish i sent a pm or two in the past few months, never got a reply. Perhaps you were very busy and forgot to get back to me? OH, and beautiful chocolate!

Yeah man, the post office keeps rejecting my beans and sending them back. I’ve been in there 3 times to try and get it right but there’s too many idiots working there I suppose. There’s machines that sort here apparently and those are what keep rejecting the letters. I’m trying to not spend much. And yes I’ve just been too busy to commit to sending them to loads of people right now:
Did you ever give me your address and what you’d like? I typically write it down and get around to the people I pm. I have a few letters here that got returned I just been dreading going in there again. I think I’m just going to use the bubble mailers.
Sorry if you’ve been waiting,

Bummed to hear the post office is hating. It sounds like your cards may be too rigid for the sorting machines and need to be labelled and sent as non-machinable, with the correct non-machinable postage.

I shed a few tears here and immediately went to give my friend a good hug, who turns 14 this year. I’m 29 and I’ve been with him since I was 15, he accompanied me throughout the formation of my personality and believe me, I learned a lot from him . I will enjoy every minute as long as he gives me the privilege of being by his side.

I’m sorry for your loss brother and I know exactly how painful this moment is, be strong!

I’m good… just staying busy. The girls in the house, well that’s a different story. I feel bad for my son, his dog since age 21… buried his pup and had to hop on a plane within hours.

It’s true what they say about it never getting easier. But i believe that’s on us… we just give and take love that much more intensely… vowing to make the next one’s life that much more enjoyable.

Appreciate y’all, now if ya dont mind i’v still got a 4 year old Golden that needs spoiling…

So, anyone got a link for virgin charcoal to refill my filter cannisters?

Current runs are overpowering the older filters… I’d like to refill if it’s a cheaper option.

They’re under an ounce and under 1/4”. I gave up on the rigid picks and back to the washer. Still got rejected. So I got more expensive stamps. Still rejected. I think I’m flagged or something.

@Coda thank you, I was not aware ACI offered filter charcoal. I did tell Ris I would be reaching out again after my last purchase…

I got a package in the mail yesterday from an OG who’s become a friend I look forward to meeting some time soon.

Blue Dream santa Cruz cut, and Chiquita Banana he recently received from our own Johnny Potseed during a recent sale. Thank You my friend.

Hmm. Sounds like your local employees don’t have reading comprehension or are too stubborn to look up the rules.

Non-machinable letters need to:

  1. Have a non-machinable stamp.
  2. Be clearly labelled/stamped “Non-Machinable”.
  3. Handed to the postman and explained as being non-machinable so they put it in to “hand sort” pile.

Also:
Nothing within the letter can move around, it has to be secure in its position.

If they refuse to accept your letters, write to the postmaster general and they will make sure your postal employees understand the rules. Tell the postmaster you send trading cards and novelty coins and have followed the rules on their site but you are still being refused service by your local office.

Yeah they’re secure. That’s funny I told them they were coins when they asked. I think into the point of contacting someone higher up.

4x4 has been harvested, RIL and Mac1 hung a few days and are now brown bagged in mini fridge. The GrandPa Glue is hanging.

Confession time… the plant i’v been showing as G’Pa Glue is in fact a Mac1. Just before flowering we pulled all plants out, trimmed them up and trellised as we reinstalled the plants. The G’Pa and Mac1 were switched in position from where they vegged… with labels facing back of tent. Another rookie mistake… and i learned from it.

Heading into the 4x4 will be 1x Chem D, 1x Chiquita Banana, 2x Mac1. Starts are about ready to up pot and place in the tent where they will get quite a bit more veg time. Shooting for a early/mid Sept harvest… then shut it down for vacation.

At some point i want to do my annual seedrun, 4 strains hit by a 5th. This may or may not happen in the 4x4 and flipped just before i leave.

3x3… 4x CJ91. Day 49 from flip of scheduled 80. I have one plant with issue… the other 3 are fine as
of now. Looks like two expressions of this cross.

Cabinet is full, just set up for trying my luck cloning the old school way.

And the HubbaBubba is coming along, it has a 65w autocob over her and I’m thinking I might add a second.

I forgot the 2x4 with 2x Cap Junky on day 25.

At least they still have legible labels. :stuck_out_tongue: Mine are always wearing off about the time I start flower, and I end up going from memory sometimes, which is probably not a great idea… and this definitely explains some things. That one did not smell at all like Glue of any sort, and though s1’s have a lot of variance it did seem strange that it’d ended up with such a sweet, fruity smell. Entirely normal for MAC1 though, the “pastry” taste that people talk about seems to be more of an aftertaste on it, with the initial taste being all fruity/sweet. Kinda grapey, maybe? Tough to describe, but definitely sweet.
