What friends?!

I do much better when hand feeding for some reason, but I’m going to give the autopots another chance with Jack’s nutes and probably some hydroton at bottom of containers… instead of jumping into another system right away.

See what happens, perhaps next spring will see a change.

Jacks in a autopot. Cool. I use it in peat. Love the stuff.

The hydroton makes a huge difference. Also, I see Amazon now has a plastic insert you can use instead of the messy hydroton. I have a couple sets of pots using Megacrop 1 part and Sweet Candy and another with Jack’s. You get buildup with the Jack’s also, just a different color. I haven’t completed a full grow as of yet with the Jack’s so I can’t make a full assessment yet, I’m starting the 3rd week of flower with some Mazard and Sowabunga. Time will tell. FWIW, I love my Autopots.

Definitely. You seem to be sharing some sweet cuts pretty openly, let at least a few know you’d like them to keep them backed up for you. That way you can always get back what you want and free up space if need be at certain points. Looking good in here!!

In reading up on this i’v found many who recommend against the hydroton for ph issues, which surprises me as i thought it was supposed to be ph neutral.

I think i can get some course #3 or #4 perlite at the local depot. Believe that would be the way to go.

Going to order new lines as well.

Have you seen anyone using an inline filter to catch any particles between res and lines/trays?

You have a journal?

I don’t have auto pots, so not sure if it’s pertinent, but I have an inline disc filter between my res and lines for sure.

I’m just paying back the favors, i’v only purchased one cut, the rest were gifted and traded…

In my space 4 or more mom’s can be daunting… they tend to get woody from lack of proper attention. I know thats on me, getting older have really slowed the last few years.

I’ve never had any Ph issues with hydroton. I wash it down real well before I use it, been using it since probably around 2018 with no issue. As I stated above, autopot usa has a plate for $10 that you can use instead of hydroton, or any medium for that matter. I then use Nectar for the Gods #2 mix, or Tupur, and add a bit more perlite to either.

I soak everything between grows with bleach and then wash everything down. I can’t recall ever having any plugging issues since I owned them. I have 3 tents w/them. The originals with the small tubing and just the slots in the tray required a bit more attention to keep from leaking.

If you use the 25gal reservoir it comes w/an inline filter. The filter at the water tank seems to do just fine for me.

No journals…, not online anyway. I do have pics.

that’s incredible growth.

OK, i was under the impression those were another style of air introduction… and i see it also has that option. These would eliminate the clay balls or perlite…

I’ll order some soon.

She showing any flowering yet?

Don’t forget to keep an eye on her…

Your in for some nice buds if she runs clean. I’m finding it a bit too potent for daytime, knocks me out.
