I’d have to see a picture but she is defiantly a temperamental one and does get unhealthy looking leaves rather easily. She fits some of the symptoms like being hard to clone but she has been that way sense before the dam virus was around. Would be interesting to get there stock tested though, I’m considering them for the chem cuts if I can ever get down there again. She normaly has a light lemon bleach flavor but under the right conditions in soil comes out very sour and gassy. She does not like to be root bound or starved for light or nutrients all , I always say she is the first to show sighns of any thing being of in a room. I’ve always thought the the ghost was a s1 buts that a whole diff conversation, the agreed upon or accepted story is it changed while being grown in the PNW.
@jasper I was unimpressed with the Cuban, great growth but not my kinda flavor profile at all. The ghost will always be a floppy plant that needs tons of support , even if you super bonzai when you switch to flower the new growth will flop , kinda looks like a weeping cannabis tree lol
These aren’t bad compared to 2 wks ago. Most leaves had heavy mosaic on all 3 fingers. Im actually about to send it and a few other cuts to get tested
I got the 91 chem from em also and i can say that she needs extra calcium during flower but otherwise is a beautiful plant. Really cant wait to run it next to the b1g wyrm chem cut i got.

I will chime in that she is a real bitch to clone. I have cuts about 10 days in rooters and no signs of roots yet. I need new mom from these cuts and promised to pass one on to someone.

I’m not sure what story your referring to or why you are so negative towards a cut of og kush most people don’t have. Depends on what you saw as 92 og I suppose. I have grown just about every og out there and this is the one I am most impressed with. Also growhard is a great guy and I don’t think he is trying or needs to emulate anybody. There are many different stories surrounding the origins of og kush and what cut is what etc etc etc but I choose to believe what makes sense based on what I saw first hand , who had what cuts and who didn’t and who still does. I don’t have anything to gain or lose based on the beliefs of others and life is full of choices so we must all choose what to believe and what not to but there is no need to be crass about it when in reality nobody can prove anything about these genetics, you know what you know or what you think you know and that is often enough for most unless they have some motivating reason to care.

Yes I would agree I have definitely seen different cuts act drastically different based on the slightest changes in how or where they are grown. Sorry if I came of aggressive , I’ve just grown tired of the kush, og kush, bubba kush , chem and sour arguments and or theories long ago. I first smoked kush aka og kush in 2002 in Santa Monica within some very small circles and there was already a lot of the same conversations being had then that are being had now. I also remember the rudeboi threads and all the arguing over the suge cut back then. All things aside I’d love a real pure kush cut to compare or the so cal master, I have the original bubba kush, orgnkids ghost and the 92og but the pk and master I lost touch with. The real pk not the lapk aka pusskush.
I’m doing a co op in the near future of an franchise genetics strain that obsl33t made. It has the orgnkid cut in the cross. I’m pretty excited to see what come from it

Headband is another mixed up controversial plant in regards to who has it and what it is, I’m still trying to hunt down a legit so cal master kush, west coast dog, or pure kush. Or how about the purple Afghan that went around as purple kush for so long , the half green half purple/blue dusty musky one that grew large round nugs, Not the KP that so many grew out and named various things but the real old school purple Afghan. 95 -2005 were some of the best years for herb especially kush genetics.
I was smoking kush before there was a bubba kush and og was just called kush or AAA kush if you got the top buds. There was kush then it was og kush , bubba kush came about , as soon as pure kush company (suge) and swerve got involved things got murky fast. People were popping beans and calling all kinds of things what they were not. I’m pretty sure if you look hard enough on old forums you can find posts were suge explains what the suges pk is and isent . You also see pages and pages of arguing about everything people are arguing about or trying to figure out now.
If you were around in the early days of the kush from la you know the cypress hill story is true , everybody was excited and upset when those seeds were found. You would also probably know the connection between the people with the kush weed and the Hollywood scene was threw some kids who blew amazing glass that was sold in a very high end glass shop. This was a headshop that sold to rappers, actors and other wealthy pot heads alike. The best herb was being traded for some of the best glass available and it was not long before the dots were connected between the three groups. A couple of the glass blowers were from Colorado and some of the original kush crew is out there now.
