Nepal OG was 20k

I lived on a commune with the guy who made AAA (Asian Fantasy) and he was part of the OG thing.
OG goes back before the 80’s, it just got refined a bit throughout the 80s.

The Florida guys can only trace OG as far back as Alec getting bagseed and growing it out.
Funny how all these modern elites at some point come from bagseeds of BOEL/DeadFam and then a new story pops up to make it their own.

Doesn’t that third cannabible have romulan cotton candy in it? I think it was released by federation seeds? There was a cut of that going around back in 2002-05 when I first started growing. I wish I could find something that tasted like that again…

I’ve got the 2nd cannabible, busted it out a few months back for nostalgia. Was fun going back and reading thru it.

I’m more than a little happy to say yesterday I got my clone and cuts from All Star Clones to replace the Ghost I had but for reasons I wont go into I lost it along with several other strains. I’m just starting to grow again after a few months and we really like the Ghost, since for us its has a unique effect. Uplifting and yet VERY relaxing but not a couch lock nap time effect. For me and my wife this strain is very different in a fantastic way in its buzz. IMO I’m surprised that is not more popular than it seems to be. Thanks to ASC for holding the and folks who kept it and made it available widely like this.

The first person I knew who could get the kush got herb in little tupewares with AAA written on it , pictures I’ve seen of the Asian fantasy looked very similar to that weed, I miss that weed a lot.
Also ironic but there father worked for jerry Garcia for many years they insisted his favorite weed was Hawaiian.
I also think a lot about all the Thai stick that came into Washington.
Wonder what would happen if I crossed some Kona gold to let’s say Kandahar and tora bora.
Also a lot more Mexican sativas were in the mix in the old days , emerald triangle could have been so many things , hasent trinity been around for a long time ?

If you got it from them it is the legit ghost cut , most get it and realize it’s a finicky hard to grow plant and move on. I’m grabbing a few of things from them in about a month , that’s a solid crew , sometimes hard to reach but legit cuts

I’ve tried to tell people all the good genetics will lead you back to bikers , hippies or surfers

No way will I move on from this one. It’s spindly and needs support I learned on the first one but I’ve grown out a couple sour d strains that were really picky as well. Worth the effort but for cash cropper’s I can see it being more trouble than it’s worth I guess.

If you put it into flower at about a 8 inch clone size with around 36” of clearance from a 600 watt bulb she will become a stick of nugs with one real nice bud on top , if you run large numbers on the table and grow them as sticks the yield is not so bad , if numbers are a issue it is definitely not the best structured plant to yield any large amount. I’ve tried topping her , training her her in various ways , best quality and size buds I’ve got were from growing her sog style.

Yeah, so this breeder was a taper in the Pit for Dead way back when.
When I lived at the commune, we got to go to Terrapin Station to see Phil Lesh for free at least twice a week.
Too bad all these guys are meth heads now.
He dug the Hawaiian I grew and said it brought him back in time.

Like I’ve been saying, OG is older than the stories of those trying to capitalize on it with their Origins Of OG Kush Story. The Florida crew merely renamed it and claimed it as theirs.

It ALL started with Colonel Oliver North and his crew. But, for obvious reasons, that crew never wanted fame or recognition. Hence, people like the Florida guys come outta the wordwork to say they made it.

Same story for OG as for Chem. Government and Grateful Dead. And I got the same story from both those camps.

Wouldn’t surprise me but that occurs with many a great strain , Big Sur for example , first it was this guy Patrick grows some great herb in Big Sur, then it became hey this old hermit grows great weed down around Big Sur, then this hermit monk created it and its called Big Sur holy weed. I always thought that and salmon creek were similar but the salmon creek big bud has a whole different back story…
On a different note cemetery wind sound like a good name for a metal band  That group started around 81 right ? The Virginia army or what ever they called themselves at any given moment.
If you ever met the man who cooked for the dead that was my buddies father. Family dog presents was such a short time in history that had such a long lasting influence.

As of 2018 that CCR was still being grown in Colorado. I would get half pounds or full units of that strain regularly.

So this is not ghost og but another kush plant I have and I was wondering if you have ever seen anything similar, smells like wet dog and dog poop when in flower but smells and tastes like sweet musky kush when done, straight gas no lemon or pine at all. Has been held tight sense 92 and finally found her way to me.

There is literally nothing I could do to improve upon this plant, amazing smells and flavor, great potency, amazing structure and flower formation excited to see what her offspring will produce

Ccr is what I was told that cut we all fucked with was being referred to when it made its way to CO. So nothing since 2018?

I stopped buying herb like that around that time, I will ask my buddy next time I talk to him if that cut still exists/ if he has access. Problem is everyone is so busy these days.

I imagine if you talk to glass blowers on IG from Co, you can find it/ just about anything.
